My little had a craving for spicy tuna so we decided to try this spot after seeing it the night before from getting boba next door. We were greeted when we stepped in and was told we had to order on one of the three the touchscreens provided. They don't accept cash so it was a good thing I had my cc and bank cards with me. The ordering process was fairly straightforward and easy. I ordered the trio since it seemed to be a popular choice on Yelp, plus it looked good, my kiddos ordered a dynamite lobster roll and spicy tuna roll and skipped out on the drinks since they wanted boba (again) from next door. We then chose our table and sat down. Our food was served less than 10minutes later by one of the ladies that greeted us when we arrived. We were a little disappointed because we thought a little robot would serve our food as we saw a post on Yelp from a customer who had his order served by a robot. Maybe next time? That's the only reason why I docked off a star. The trio was yummy and didn't disappoint. My little even asked if he could have some. Worst sushi I've ever had. Ordered two salmon rolls, one crunch roll, and one other roll. On every roll the rice was so so chewy. Seaweed tasted old. And the avocados weren't even ripe yet and shouldn't have been served. The avocados were so hard and tasted disgusting. On top of that the salmon tasted off. Yo this place is SO COOOL. This is the most modern poké restaurant I've ever been to. Even their toilets are motion sensor (wow). This place is also really huge, so there is a lot of seating and apparently you can reserve your tables here. So you order your food through a POS (Point of Sale) system where you touch the screen and select your meal. Surprisingly enough, they have a variety of menu items such as ramen, japanese appetizers, poké bowls, etc. There's also ALL YOU CAN DRINK boba tea here for $4 and it tastes pretty good for what you're paying for! So after you order your meal, you get a number on the side, and you bring it your table. I was a little confused at first if I was supposed to pick up the food by the counter or not, but the employee in front said they bring it to your table. COOL. The presentation of the meal is also really appealing. The fish is fresh. The toppings are fresh. The kaarage is not too fried. But the boba drink is slightly more on the sweeter side. Overall, really good meal! I just loved how clean and organized this restaurant is and you basically don't even really need to interact with their employees. This place is a good one if you only care a lot about the money you're gonna spend because you'll spend cheaper than the other Japanese food places. I went came in and no one even gave a single welcome once I entered. I made order through the self service machine at the front and I expected the robot to come deliver my meal as advertised but it isn't working at that time. I ordered Chicken Karaage and Eel Tamago Roll. The chicken was so bland that I had to add spicy mayo to help the taste, but it was juicy and the portion was also decent for that price. The spicy mayo was also not balanced between sweetness and spicy, only got sweetness on it. The eel seemed not to exist at the roll as I got tamago more. The sauce tasted just sweet without any other flavor like teriyaki. Overall, this place is good for those who want to taste an affordable Japanese dish but not for me. Came here around 3pm and loved it. I absolutely love being able to self serve and choose as many toppings as I want. A small poke bowl is 2 proteins, a big poke bowl is 3 proteins. I loved that the base could be half rice, half salad. Then I added as much toppings as I wanted. We also got a sushi roll and takoyaki which was as just ok. I love this location because everything seems like it was made with people with social anxiety in mind. First going into the restaurant there is an open area behind the counter where the employees will be preparing dishes, cleaning etc. you can walk up to the touch screens and order without human interaction. Pick out what you want and make any necessary modification at the end. Pay take a table number if you choose to eat in or place a name (or maybe it was a number assigned to you) for take out. Then you wait for your food to come a little robot comes out and brings you the dish. The little robot does not bring utensils but you can pick those up without human interaction at the front counter, they have chopsticks, spoons and forks. Then when your done pick up the tray (the robot brings your items on a red and black gray) and throw the trash items in the trash located by the exit/entrance and place the tray with the other trays. The only social interaction I had to have was when asking for sauce and a lid because I choose to eat in and did not finish my food. They also have a menu board that it Organized the same way the digital screen is organized in categories . Nice place to maybe do homework and stuff. read more

Went here today with a friend and ordered a tuna avocado maki roll, spicy tuna roll, and custom made poke bowl with scallop and tuna to share. Overall, the prices were very reasonable, and the fish was fresh in the maki roll and the poke bowl. My only complaint is that the spicy tuna was a little fishy. I do not think I would order that again, because I don't think I would want to take the chance with it. The Robot Cat was definitely a highlight, with its cute facial expressions as it delivers the food. I came here with my family on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. We walked in and the place is very empty.. that's expected since it's past lunch time but not quite dinner time. We walked in and was told to order at the big computer screen. It's very easy, quick and efficient to place your order. We ordered 2 small poke bowls - one bowl with tuna and albacore and the other one with tuna and salmon. We chose to add most of the toppings on there and selected one sauce to put in the bowl and 2 additional on the side for each bowl. Since my mom didn't like eating raw fish, she ordered the tonkatsu ramen instead. The food came out really fast. I really like how the fish is very fresh and they really give a good amount of food for the bowl. My mom really liked the ramen.. so much that she even drank all the broth lol but i thought it was just ok, nothing too special. I did see that they have all you can drink tea/boba station for $3.99 but i didn't get to try it. I'm really surprised why this place doesn't have more people but it might be because I came at an odd time during the day. Tried this place for the first time, and I'll be coming back in the future! We tried the Cali Maki and the Eel & Shrimp Maki, and the portions were huge! Their poki is so good. One thing I would wish and recommend for them to add in their menu is hot cheeto flakes. Been to another poki place more local where I live that you can get hot Cheetos flake as your topping. The popcorn shrimp roll is so amazing as well. It has the crispy shrimp taste mixed with the sushi together. Like you can't beat that. Inside the place is nice and clean. The ordering is super easy, you don't need to talk to a employee to order your food. You do it all your own with the tablet device they have. And you can pay from the machine with your card but if you wanted to pay with cash, than you have to go to the front counter and finish your order transaction. Lastly, when you dine in and get a number, a employee does not bring you the food, unless it is food for to go, it is a rolling machine that talks to you with positive vibes and brings your food. Now that this is a poke place, I go here so much more often. I am absolutely in love with their poke bowls and their sauce. Brown rice -- first off, it is great they have brown rice. The second part that makes it more fabulous? They have cold brown rice. The most disgusting thing about poke bowls with hot rice is that it makes your raw fish warm, so gross. I like my fish nice and cold, and since they use a colder rice, it pairs PERFECTLY with everything else, including the half salad mix I like to get with my poke. My salad doesn't wilt, and it stays all intact for the ride home. I do a 50/50 mix of their poke sauce and ponzu sauce, it is the perfect little mix for a tangy poke bowl. I get three proteins usually (double salmon and single tuna), it is the perfect amount of food to make me satiated. I also like that you can provide your phone number for future orders, so when I come back in my previous order is already there, and I can just instantly reorder. Definitely recommend this place if you want some poke bowls, my BF has tried their ramen and he liked it here too for a quick fix. The atmosphere of the building itself is very inviting, but the people working behind the counter are not as much. When I entered, no one had greeted me. There were two women working behind the counter and one of them glanced at me. Eventually a third woman came and she was the only one to greet everyone who had entered after me. Customers should always be greeted, and that's the bare minimum. Immediately, as I was looking over the menu, I contemplated whether I should order from here or not simply due to the fact that I had been standing there for quite some time and not one employee had a even attempted to ask if I had any questions or to say anything. The prices are VERY reasonable. The sushi rolls have the same quality taste as the rolls they prepare at grocery stores, yet they're about half the price, so that's a deal. That's pretty much the only reason why I did order from here. I also wanted to try their Udon soup, which isn't great but isn't bad. The broth has a simple flavor, but it's good. The beef is pretty good as well. The noodles, on the other hand, have the texture of what I could only describe as "instant noodles". But, I've also never had udon soup before, so maybe that's just how the noodles are. It was also a "turn off" that nobody delivers your food to you if you decide to dine in. They have a robot bring it over to your table, or they call your order number and you have to pick it up from the counter. I think this is pretty lazy on behalf of the business, and it shows that they don't care much for their customers or interacting with them, but only about saving money. ‼ ALSO. I went to use the restroom, which had a sign "for CUSTOMERS only", but there was someone in there so of course I waited. I waited a long time until finally I heard the toilet flush and immediately a middle-aged man with a blue shirt opened the door to exit and went straight into another door in the hallway, so I assumed he was one of the managers or the owner, since he obviously was not a customer. I didn't hear the water run or the air dryer go off before or after I heard him flush the toilet, so I'm ASSUMING that he didn't wash his hands, which I find extremely disgusting. If I hadn't already paid, that would have been the deciding factor as to whether I ate there or not, and it would have been a no. That is a horrible example to set for the employees, and I hope that the people making our food are a LOT more safe and hygienic than this man was. ‼ Would I come back? I've tried this place a few times and it's always been a positive experience. They don't take phone orders, so you have to go in and place your order on a computer screen when you walk in. You can customize your poke bowl and whatever else you order. If you ordered here before, it remembers your last orders so you can just reorder when you had before, which makes things easier. Everything we've tried here is good: poke bowl, ramen, curry, California rolls... it's all good! You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Just be patient for your food as they make everything fresh when you order it. As someone's mentioned before, don't fix what's not broken. There are so many poke places in the area, at least being a chiraishi place set it apart from everybody else. (You can still actually see it say Chiraishi still in their sign on the back wall). Now with these changes, I honestly feel like I'm getting way less than what I'm paying for. Around $10 for 2 proteins vs. I believe the same price for like 3-ish different slices of fish/etc to include. There are less ordering stations now and they did away with the help yourself to the sauce counter in the front. Poki Maki maintains its quality of food with its great service despite trying times. The poki contained very fresh ingredients and I did not have to wait too long for my food. Poki bowls are pretty good, you can add crawfish, shrimp, and they give a lot for the portion.

I've not had any poke quite like what you can get in Hawaii, but this is one of the best poke bowls I've had on the mainland. It's reasonably priced, gives a good amount of protein, and has avocado as an optional topping. I was surprised by how few poke bowl shops have that as an option in this area, so that's a big plus for me. The karage is also good, not quite great, but easily satisfies. Haven't tried any other food options yet, I keep coming back for those two. And the sauces here really bring it altogether, which is why I give this five stars instead of four. The spicy mayo in the poke bowl isn't overly spicy and the Japanese mayo has just the right touch of sweet to compliment the karage. Finally, let's talk "all you can drink boba tea". This sounds actually be called "all you can drink tea", because the boba isn't subject to free refills. What you do is pick your "toppings", e.g. boba pearls, and then you get a cup with your selections and you can fill up with whatever tea options are available at the self-serve counter. If you feel like you haven't had enough tea, you've got free refills. Honestly, it's great if you're going to be here for a bit. Even if you aren't, it's still priced the same as boba tea anywhere else nearby and is probably better than many competitors with plenty of flavor options. read more
