Sky City Diner, Dayton Hollywood Casino…read more Nice design! The atmosphere was an old diner, only problem was, there were only about 5 booths, and I believe should have been more, but still good! Service was really slow. Waitress came over got out drink order, brought out drinks and then disappeared for about 10 minutes. When she finally did reappear we placed our order, my wife ordered the patty melt with extra crispy French fries, and I ordered the Reuben with extra crispy French fries. Order came out about 10 minutes later, made fresh, so expected a little wait. My Reuben was ok, a little stingy on the thousand island dressing, and fries were old and rubbery, not crisp or even hot at all! The patty melt had NO thousand island dressing at all, as menu said it should have, and fries were the same as mine! When waitress came by and asked if everything was ok, I said my sandwich was good but fries were a little old, her response, which was started after the sandwich was good, was oh thats nice to hear! I finished my sandwich and wife only ate half of hers! We asked for bill and with discounts came to $20 (give or take a few cents)! Would I recommend this place? Not only NO! But he!!, NO! Pricey and not worth it! Of course this is the first time for us, and that first time is the most valuable! Gaming was good though!

The hotel is a little difficult to manuver into from the other side of the street when traffic is busy. The a/c was nice due to the humidty there. Front desk service was prompt. The only quabble I'd have with the hotel is that their towels and sheets have stains. They smell clean, but are dingy.

Going by the "a hotel is a hotel is a hotel", we decided that the Days Inn would fit our needs well enough; we were only gonna sleep there, anyway, but we made sure we would get internet and _air conditioning_ (see my review on the Budget Inn Patricia Hotel.. ugh). We made our reservations ahead of time... and we were quickly handed keys to our room when we got there. Not sure how it happened, but we walked in to a room that was still a huge mess. The bed wasn't made, and things were scattered about. We walked right out of there, and requested a different room. For all we know, the last guest hadn't checked out yet, or they hadn't cleaned the place. They got us keys to a new room right away, and we walked in to a much nicer room. In any case, it was a Days Inn, so I'm not going to quibble too much on the review. The air conditioning was more than satisfactory (and with the temperature being in the 90s, much appreciated). An empty fridge was available for our use. There was internet and a few chairs by a side table. I had a feeling that general cleanliness could have been a little better - but maybe I was still having a hard time shaking off the image of the previous room. There was coffee and a mini-breakfast for guests in the morning. The person attending to us was pretty nice, so no complaints on the "niceness" factor. All in all, not too bad.

My son and I are staying here right now, and I can honestly say this is one of the worst hotel…read moreexperiences we've ever had. The place is run down from top to bottom -- stained carpets, peeling paint, and a musty odor that never goes away. The room didn't feel clean when we walked in, and nothing about this property feels safe or well-maintained. We are on the second floor and all night all you heard was people screaming in the hallway, slamming doors and pounding on the doors for others to let them in. The entire hotel smells like weed. You get a contact high as soon as you walk onto the floor. The us no elevator. The stairs are not cleaned. Half drunk pop/beer bottles under the stairs and some on the stairs. You can tell people live here, not just stay here. (I understand this - we're living in tough times right now.) The "free breakfast" is barely edible, the Wi-Fi barely works, and the whole place feels neglected. For the price they charge, it's ridiculous that they can't provide even basic cleanliness or guest comfort. If you value your money, your time, or your peace of mind, avoid this hotel. There are plenty of other options in Dayton that actually care about their guests.
