I've been on a bit of a poke kick lately, and since I didn't feel like heading out, I decided to get Poke Dot delivered. I'm always a little nervous about raw fish traveling, but this was absolutely delicious and arrived perfectly fresh! * Freshness: The fish quality was top-tier. Even with the delivery time, the tuna and salmon were firm and chilled, which is exactly what you want. * The Mix-ins: I love how they distribute the sauce--it wasn't soggy at all. Every bite had a great balance of flavor without drowning out the taste of the fish. * Portion Size: They were quite generous with the scoops and the toppings, making it a very filling and satisfying meal. The delivery was quick and the packaging was sturdy, so nothing leaked or got squished. It's definitely my new go-to when I want a healthy, high-quality meal but want to stay in. Whether you're dining in or ordering at home, Poke Dot is incredibly consistent. Definitely one of the better poke spots in the area for quality and portion size!

By far - my favorite poke in the OC. Everything is always so fresh and they're always so friendly. Every time I've visited, the consistency is always there. I usually get the smallest size (2 proteins) and tbh, it's a great amount of food. I wished there was a size in between, I usually can't finish it. They pack the box, always! My go to is always one of their seasonal salmon/tuna. Parking can be annoying on the weekdays during lunch. Theres indoor and outdoor seating.

Poke Dot is good. However, they have raised their prices a lot over the past 3 to 4 years. It's overpriced IMO (hence the 3 stars) but it's really the only poke place nearby if you work in the area so this is your only option. There are similar places in Irvine that give the same amount of food but for less price. The sauces are bland compared to previous years when I would come here once a week or so. Customer service has been efficient. Always busy though of course during the lunch rush during the week. Ample parking. Clean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Overall - if you're craving poke and in the area - this place is good but it's just overpriced.

Girls were so fast making my bowl, so many good selections, its been so hard to find places with hot cheetos as a crunchy and they had it, I was highly satisfied with the portion and the selection and quality.

Solid poke bowl that is LOADEDDDDD. I love their salmon here and the scoops they gave are lowkey a lot. Would definitely come back bevause they hage Cheetos as well!

Poke Dot is the most generously portioned poke shop in Irvine that I've found. Their regular bowl ($17.45) gives you three scoops of protein, with nice big chunks of fish. I like that crab meat, avocado and seaweed salad are available at no extra charge. It was so big that I think I could probably just get a small bowl next time. I had placed my order online and for pick up during the busy lunch hour (where the line was to the door). I had ordered two bowls and unfortunately the bases for them got mixed up, so I got my husband's white rice and he got my salad and brown rice. Oops. I might have given Poke Dot a higher rating, if not for this. If you come during weekday lunch, you may want to order online. Or maybe it's safer to just get in line and make sure your bowl is made the way you want.

Stumbled upon this place on my way to a tutoring class and it was pretty convenient for us. It was literally 2 minutes from the tutoring place and we could not be happier. We went in at 4:30pm and obviously it was not a busy time. The place was well-maintained, clean, and had plenty of seating areas. We ended up having a large bowl with a white rice as a base, and 5 scoops of delicious proteins (1 spicy tuna, 2 salmon, and 2 shrimp). For the sauce, we tried spicy mayo which was perfect (just the right amount of heat), and the toppings we picked our usual likings (green onion, seaweed salad, furikake, and masago). Honestly, we didn't expect to eat this much food before our dinner time, so we only managed to eat half and took the rest home for later.

Great portion sizes with a variety of toppings, ability to customize half rice and salad, add several fish proteins. Plenty of tables as a casual sit down spot. This location has plenty of parking with several great shops nearby like Paderia for cookies/pastries.

Food: 3 Protein Poke Bowl (Half Brown Rice and Chips) Price: $17.45 Overall: My friend recommended this place to me. We came on July 4th and they weren't close until 4pm! Upon arriving, I like that they have a variety of fish options. Also, the portions are very big; each scoop of fish was generous! I got the regular, and they stacked up on the fish and sides. The avocado here was also free (IN THIS ECONOMY? SAY LESS). Not an authentic hawaiian spot but this is a solid casual poke with a great amount of indoor and outdoor seating!

Dropped by for a poke bowl and even though we found a parking spot up close, I could see the lot filling up during peak times. If that happens, there is additional parking behind the shopping plaza. Just wanted to throw that out there because don't let the parking deter you from trying this place out! THE FOOD. - Poke Bowl (Large) | The large is large! It comes with five scoops of protein and several options of toppings to choose from. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you're a salmon lover, definitely get a few scoops of it! THE DRINK. - Pink Lemonade | Sweet and tangy. Get it. THE RETURN? Yeah, I'd come back. I really like the portion sizes and the food quality is everything.

One my favorite poke spots because their portions are large! I used to come here for work all the time before I moved offices. The service is always great and quick. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.

My FAVORITE poke place! I legit eat here at least 3 times a week! The poke is ALWAYS fresh, and they have a nice selection of options. This place gets PACKED! Especially during lunch time, but I assure you it's definitely worth the wait. They also have a nice outside patio to sit and enjoy some sunshine. They are not stingy with their portions and they've never disappointed. Their prices are reasonable for the portions they give.

This is my second time coming here and it's definitely one of the best poke shops in the area! The store is kept pretty clean and there weren't many people when I came in but I can imagine how busy it gets during the weekdays. I went with the regular bowl (3 scoops) but definitely could have done the small bowl (2 scoops). The portions here are extremely generous and the employees are all very sweet here. I do wish I got more sauce as I couldn't really taste much flavor so that's something I'll definitely keep in mind for next time! They also give free avocado here so that's a huge plus.

Got my poke fix on. Great and fresh taste. No long waits during this pandemic. First time here and it won't be my last.

Good place. Generous portions at a fair price. Attentive Customer Service. No reason why Poke Dot does not deserve 5-Stars on Yelp!

Ask the Community - Poke Dot

Do they take apple pay?

Yes, now with apple pay and google pay

Is this the only location or are there others?

Do they have gluten free options (ie gluten free soy sauce)?

Yes they have GF soy sauce, Spicy Mayo, and Sesame oil as GF sauce options. Note* per employee The Imitation crab is not GF.

Do they let you get extra toppings? Ex: Avacado 2 scoops instead of 1

There is a charge for a 2nd scoop of avocado. (But they'll give you a 2nd scoop of crabmeat at no charge - I know most other places would charge for the crab.)

Delicious food, probably the best in OC or at least the area!…read more Great build-your-own-bowl with consistent tasting food. The prices have gone up over the years unfortunately, but I found that a 2-scoop bowl was still plenty. I was so full by the end of my bowl, it was totally worth it. The service was good - the workers were nice but you can tell they were overwhelmed. This place doesn't ever seem not busy. There's plenty of seats inside and also expect a somewhat loud ambiance. Also to note, the single lane driveway entrance to the parking lot is a bit of a mess. It's also a steep driveway (low car friends be warned). There's also an entrance if you go through the gas station. Overall, good food, filling, just a bit pricey.

Essentially is Chipotle style poke. Great portion size and surprisingly good fish…read more Location/Parking: kind of tough to find parking. Lot is pretty small considering how big the establishment is. Service: servers were friendly and helpful. Very fast and efficient. Vibes: large eating area, lots of people sitting for a quick bite to eat. Fairly loud and lively, especially at lunchtime. Food: I love that you get to build your own poke bowl and can choose so many different options! The fish was a lot fresher than I had anticipated and tasted pretty good with the ponzu sauce. Unlimited toppings was a huge plus. Great for a quick meal! Would come back again.
