Great spot for surfing. Beware of the strong current on the right side of the rocks, especially with bigger swell you can get caught in between. So keep some strength reserves just in case to paddle to the right and you will be fine. read more

**Secret beach!!!** I was told by the Frenchman that I should not be posting about this beach,…read moreotherwise all of the world will know about it. Well.. Duh! You can say you heard about it from Lady J! You guys.. pack your hiking gear and make the trek to this magnificent, watering hole. I promise you will not be disappointed. Let me put it his way, Corsica used this beach in their 'come visit Corsica' campaign. Like what? You mean this beach is so baller you had to steal it and claim it as yours? Yes, yes they did. This beach is so secret in order to get to it, you have climb down the side of a flat rock. Don't wear flip-flops, you will slide and it wont be pretty. It's easy, I promise. The reward is a cove nestled in between the rock face. Turquoise, warm water, lapping against a pebble shore, and a sand bank long enough to share the beauty with others, but short enough for it not to get packed. Swim or walk under the rock cave and experience the darkness and crashing sound of the waves, then exit the other side into the ocean. I always consider my dog, there was one dog on the beach. Titus would have loved it here. If you are unwilling to make the 6 hour hike. Yes, it is 6 hours, don't fret I got you covered. Rent a kayak from town. I won't tell you the town name because honestly if you don't hike, it will not be as epic. I need you to experience it to max potential. If you are a strong swimmer then rock on and check out the other small coves nearby. There are many but this one is by far the best!

I love this beach! Many hours spent watching the tide come in over the sandbar. See surfers taking their first lessons in the shallow waters. Don't miss the navy execute water test missions further out. Dang it where are my binoculars?! This beach is perfect for the kids! Before the tide comes in there are shallow pools which the young ones can safely play in. A little secret: the water in these pocket pools of water tend to be a few degrees warmer. I'm assuming it has to do with the current. I'll let you marine biologist address that one. For the big kids head further out and wait for the waves. You could almost time the cycles. Plenty of sandbar to nap, pic-nic, build castles or people watch.
