I posted a pic of a granola flatbread item which was probably the healthiest thing I'd had to eat all week. I was basically living off this one piece of bread for 2 days. On the train, on the bus, walking through narrow side streets, and I never got tired of eating it. In fact I found it addictive. I even found myself waking up in the middle of the night nibbling on it. Then when I awoke and found none left I felt pangs of loss and depression. If you're looking for a healthy bakery in Münster, I'd give this place a try.

It made my heart warm and my feet just walked in on their own : ) The cafe is pretty small, but also has seating on the second and the third floor. We loved our little table on the third floor facing the Old Town and enjoyed the cozy Christmas decorations. The bonus was: our food was delivered to us straight to the table! I would say this is a great place to try German traditional pies (onion, pumpkin, cheese, spinach - they are all amazing!), and the portions are generous. Their desserts are pretty amazing as well along with a wide choice of different breads and rolls. They have a full espresso bar and we loved our cappuccinos (thought they got a bit cold while traveling to the third floor : ) I think it is a perfect breakfast/brunch spot. The ladies at the counter were very friendly and understanding. They persevered my German and responded in English : )
