I love the hometown service that you receive at Firstbank of Lumberton. The big banks treat you as…read morea number and say they are going to do this and that BUt, they have to get approval up top. That is where you are no more than a number!!! They do not take into account that you have a personal tie to the community and are a Lumbertonian. I want to say in my younger days the local mentality changed and the bigger banks no longer made decisions and i needed help. Mike Hardin look a chance on me at another bank but got me the loan i needed. He left that branch because they didn't value the local connections of community so he went to First Bank. i always said when i got my house in order, i was going back to Mike at First Bank ( the local community bank ) and i moved everything i had to Mike at First Bank. This was at least 15 years ago. Then Mike retired and i became apprehensive but Debbie took over and has carried on the HOME TOWN service of community!!! i highly encourage you to do business with the bank that values you as a person of the community not a number!!!! The community bank is still ALIVE!!!

BEWARE, I would definitely avoid this company! Spoke with one of their reps Steven on Monday…read more6/17/24 about doing an attic and crawl space insulation job on a rental property. Steven promised and scheduled an appointment to be there 6/18/24 and asked for the tenants to grant him access to measure and look at the attic. Well, Tuesday passed with multiple calls from tenants asking where he was? As they took off work for this appointment. No word from him Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday....so I called him and he stated he was not able to get out there and said to give him another chance and he would go Monday. I told him to forget it and I will go with someone else who has respect for their clients. STAY AWAY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Tonya Collins…read more Whenever you go on Zillow there is an option asking if you want to be connected to a realtor. On a whim, I selected this option....not knowing what to expect. Little did I know that I would be connected to THE PERFECT realtor. Tonya listened to my needs, wants, must haves and ran with it. Initially I was looking for a bigger house / property and when those changed she adjusted flawlessly. I found THE perfect house for me and she sealed the deal....not because I had the best offer in a RIDICULOUS bidding war with MULTIPLE other contenders...we got the house because the seller loved my realtor. Tonya was there every single step of the way....even those steps that fell outside her area of responsibility. Her communication style is constant. She would connect with me as soon as she had any new information; to the point where I felt that I had gained a new best friend. Tonya already has new client in my family members when they move to the area. I would refer her to anyone that I know and WISH that I knew her when I sold my previous house. Should you make the decision to pass her up for another realtor, trust me when I say, you will regret it for years to come!!!
