They have 3 locations here in Fredericksburg but only one is usable by a sedan type of car. The other two branches have the ATM and "teller machines" so high that you are not able to reach them is you drive a sedan. And, on top of that, two branches have arranged to have the screens in the drive thru facing into the sun. Of course you cant see them, it's just like trying to see your phone in the bright sun! If VACU can't even build a relatively simple square building correctly, I am very concerned about them building anyone's bank accounts... Additionally, I have found that the employees (although quite friendly and smile a lot), will lie to you about anything to acquire your money from you. You'll do great banking there as long as you don't trust ANYONE. Don't say you haven't been warned!!!

I was surprised that the Burke & Herbert Bank of Fredericksburg was not considerate. The teller could have taken our $20 bill and given my wife the10 two-dollar bills without much effort and then said "in the future, ma'am, we cannot serve you if you don't have an account here". But no, that was not the solution; the concept of hometown friendly service seems to have gone away at some institutions. We did find another bank which gladly helped us.
