I love that decent local wine is cheaper than Coca Cola, there's a wide selection of chilled rinks (important in a heatwave), and here's the place to stock up on bottled water if you're trying to see all of Barcelona in only 10 days. Very nice selection of what I would consider to be high end chocolates, snacks, cheese and other dairy, and fresh produce but by Barcelona standards are just typical snacks, chocolates, cheese and other dairy, and fresh produce. You can get small amounts of laundry soap cakes, excellent for travelers (travellers if you're English), and the staff is competent, friendly (not in that fake "have an nice rest of your day" American way), and polyglots. For some odd reason, Catalonians can understand my bad French better than French speakers. Don't forget to bring a grocery bag.

Buy water here in the six-packs of 2L bottles as it is rather economical )(€1.98, which is also what I've paid previously for a lone 500ml bottle as an accompaniment to a meal at a restaurant!). The private label offers very inexpensive options that did not seem to compromise on quality (at least in my experience) - the delicious Muesli cereal (€1.75) was one such example. The Ristorante pizzas often go on promotion (the 2nd unit is half off), which is a fab deal that you should look out for :) I think I've found better value in Mercadona's chocolate, but the selection here is generally great. The only foods I would advise you to look elsewhere are fresh produce items (except strawberries which they occasionally offer for €2) - I always preferred to buy spinach and fruit from the open markets, but Condi's, with its late night hours, was there for me 99% of the time when I needed anything else :)

It is VERY difficult to find quinoa round these parts at prices that aren't outrageous, and this place has it, and what's more it's organic! As with any organic market, some items seem more reasonably priced than others, but overall don't be scared away from this place because it really isn't that much more expensive than places like Dia or el Consum (this coming from a person who knows the price per kilo of 3 different types of tomato of just about every shop in Gracia), and the quality is always great! All of my breakfast grains now come from here. All of them. Also they have a restaurant set up for takeaway, but I haven't tried it.

It is only when you ask for clarification that you discover that: - The meals (woks, burgers, etc.) is not all organic. Some of the meat and rice is but the vegetables, sauces, etc. are not. This is in very small print on the menu and contradicts the advertising outside the shop. - Most of the pastries/cakes are not organic (this is not written anywhere). I like Woki's concept a lot, am a big fan of organic Todd and smaller shop-cafè setups, but was very disappointed to find Woki misleads customers in this way. :(
