I visited this location today. I inquired about notary for quit claim deeds. I gave the notary lady all 3 of my deeds. The notary asked if I was the grantor or the grantee. I responded grantee. The notary lady walked to her co-workers asking if the grantee need to be present. I told all 3 notaries that the grantee doesn't need to be present during the "notary of the quit claim deeds". They began to state that the grantor and grantee were to be present. How are they offering a service they are not qualified to offer. My properties are in Indiana. I'm reporting this location. To make matters worst; they refuse to check the incorrect information they passed along to me. I guess my race automatically said how can she own properties. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but the reviews from years ago are still accurate. This place is horrible. They wouldn't let me cash my check because I SIGNED IT. Lmao. I had my ID with me as well. So I couldn't cash a check from my employer because they said I can't sign it. A fking joke. read more

My first time in this establishment to try and cash a check was today. First words out of the tellers mouth after handing her my check(which is a 5% fee to cash) I was asked why I had signed my check. When I responded by saying "I thought you were supposed to endorse any check you're trying to use", I was accused of already have depositing the check and trying to get extra money. Personally I don't believe company policy should be to accuse customers the second they walk into your building, but regardless they will never handle business from anyone within my family again. Terrible representation and terrible service. A company in which their first and only thought is accusations cannot be set upon a valid business plan. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! read more

This place is a joke - cashing a money order from a different company charges 5% . Talking about scammers here ya go.

It is not like this review will matter given the type of business PLS is, it is still important to me as a consumer to share my experience. I received a small loan and the clerk was very courteous and professional. If I was ever in a financial bind again, I would have returned based on the service I received. I went into the location on 61st and Broadway to repay the loan, the same location in which I used the loan services. It was an awful experience. I stood in one line for twenty minutes only to be told that I was in the wrong area. What company cannot process a loan payment when they are in the same building and presumably pulling up information on the same computer system? I stepped into a makeshift line for what I assumed to be the line for all things related to the loan services. While I stood waiting another 20 minutes, I was harassed by another customer or bystander aggressively trying to give me an estimate to repair the bumper on my car. When I finally reached the counter to pay, a woman named Sharon with the title of manager on her badge greeted me dryly and seemed more concerned with people helping themselves to popcorn than helping me. When I attempted to pay with my debit card, she rolled her eyes and told me that they could not accept that method of payment. I asked why and it was because it was a Visa. What company does not accept Visa. I asked for a moment to use the atm that was two feet from Sharon's desk only to withdraw the money and see her helping someone else. All I wanted to do was pay my loan. It was an infuriating, time consuming affair. If you want to be treated like the scum of the earth by a staff of apathetic, rude, unprofessional people waste your time at this location. Because of the treatment I received, I looked into the company on the Better Business Bureau and they hold a current rating of F. read more

biggest rip off in the area. wife went in for a loan to pay on emergency family medical bills etc., she got the loan alright....238% interest..that seems illegal ...unreal....found out about it after a few months and if i could expose this even further i would but i know people need emergency loans...just think long and hard before burying yourself, screwing your life up with a loan from this p.o.s. company, what a ripoff! beware of the interest rate!!! beware!! also customer service blows at this place, long lines, attitudes etc. dont waste your time, seriously you will regret it! read more
