Amidst the hesitant and prude remarks, we went to this "Sensuality Shop" and boy oh boy there was a lot to see! Located at the Red Light District of Makati, near the strip clubs and girlie bars, Pleasure Palace is the domain where sexuality and sensuality rules. Costumes, toys, cuffs, lube, and many other items were on full display and the sales ladies aren't afraid to talk to you about uses, functionality, and alternatives. I've been to sex shops in Europe before and this is probably one of the very few well-known places in Manila that can capitalize on those looking to explore their more sensual and sexual fantasies and needs. They have other branches in Metro Walk as well as in Boracay so this clearly says that THERE IS A MARKET for these items in Manila. I know many Filipinos are very conservative and don't really talk about it. But hey, we're all adults and I think a little bit of open mindedness never hurt anybody... plus its pretty good information to have. I mean, you never know right??
