Artz Pedegral is a new, clean, and modern shopping center in the southern side of CDMX. The…read moregirlfriend and I came here one Saturday afternoon to eat and shop whilst on an excursion in this fine metropolis. We took an uber ride here from our hotel in Polanco, and the ride was less than half an hour. We took our time perusing the many shops here, and were pleased to see a wide array of brands, both high end and midrange. I would say that this shopping center is on a level between Antara and Palacio de Hierro. On the upper levels are the many great restaurants, of which we chose El Bajio. Check out my review for that restaurant in the near future. The staff and patrons here are great, and the place is safe. There is an excellent selection of stores here. Come check this place out sometime.

Mall time is always a fun time as you never know what your gonna find sometimes a store you haven't…read moreseen in forever sometimes you'll find a melted popsicle and if your really lucky you'll find a Walmart in the dungeon! While all that sounds fun the most fun is on the rooftop which is where you'll find an amusement park with roller coasters! This mall is a good size it's 3 stories full of shops and a lot of them are random Independent shops which were totally fun to browse and find some goodies to buy! Overall cool mall very clean and there really is something here for everyone so do yourself a favor and pay them a visit as you can't go wrong with the mall rat days!

Update***I just tried to post this review on the Facebook page for Acoxpa. Instead of acknowledging…read moremy issue, the post has been deleted. Thinking this was a mistake on my internet, I posted it again...to see that it had been deleted...again. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE. *** Do not lose your parking ticket. You will be treated like a criminal and be expected to pay a 200 peso fee even after you originally paid in the machines in the first place. The attendants who stand at the parking exit will not help you, and will simply ask you to get out of the line until a woman shows up, takes your identification, and informs you that you have to pay the outrageous 200 peso fee to leave this so called mall. I have never felt so robbed in my life, and I will be letting fellow expatriates know not to come and park here. The fee is ridiculous for a lost ticket and needs to be changed.

The biggest market in Mexico City and the biggest market I ever been in. Get ready to get a workout…read morecause you can walk 5 miles in and you haven't even scratch the surface of this market. The main and only reason to come is the food! tacos, soups, Gorditas, cut season fruit, and michelada. You can look around for the best food stand to eat but that'll take you forever, just go with your gut and try it.
I actually like this market are a a lot, even as a foreigner. I've come here more than 50 times…read moreover the years, and it's mostly to buy good and inexpensive clothing. They have everything though, from clothes and shoes, to food and party. It's interesting strolling through here on a Sunday afternoon, how many people are cheleando en the small local outside Nars. I e never encountered any problems personally, although I've witnessed things go down. Some lady got her necklace ripped off, and another man was laying on the street after an altercation. The police are also a little more rough in this neighborhood. Despite the widespread rumors, I think it's more about how you carry yourself and the time of day that you come. One piece of advice would be to bring your cellphone so you can navigate your way out, the place is huge!
If you can put up with some cross-cookware contamination (using same skillets or grills for both…read moremeat and non-meat), you can actually have a decent meal at this establishment as a vegetarian. I say that because most of the good establishments in Mexico have a paucity of veggie choices and they certainly don't go out of their way to make these veggie options stand out. For almost all of the menu categories, they had one or maybe two veggie options. I did not check for their veggie soups. They have one choice of veg salad, sandwich, and burger (see pics) each. Having said that, the veggie burger I ordered was really good and had texture and taste. They have several sauces on the table - I used them liberally - made a world of difference. Strongly recommend that you sample a little bit first before going gung-ho (some are very hot!).
