Parent Review My daughter attends St. Paul High School…read morebecause it's a college preparatory school aimed at guiding, protecting and energizing students EVERY day. You'll be known. Their mission: St. Paul High School is a Catholic, coeducational high school rooted in the values of the Gospel and Church Tradition. We promote and nurture students' talents, moral development, spiritual growth, and self-discipline. As a family, we challenge students to grow in their knowledge and love of God, to strive for academic, artistic, and athletic excellence, and to work toward building a more just society.

Zero vision, disgusting facilities Paying premium private…read moreschool tuition for bottom-tier, neglected facilities is an absolute joke. The weight room belongs in the past, and the showers are foul--student-athletes shouldn't have to risk using infected, outdated restrooms just to participate in sports. Upgrading isn't optional anymore; every other local school has built modern, state-of-the-art training spaces while St. Paul hides behind "tradition" as an excuse for laziness. Then leadership acts shocked when athletic programs start slipping. Sinking capital into theater while letting basic gym infrastructure collapse is financial incompetence. A real, high-level gym facility would have paid for itself through community events and program growth. Instead, money is mismanaged, facilities are neglected, and parents are fed up with paying top price for zero return. Absolute shame. Something is up !!! For anyone that cares - Have you seen the restrooms? What about the weight room?

A True Blessing for Our Family…read more Carden Academy has truly been a blessing for our two children. We came from a Catholic school and had been trying to make the transition to Carden for some time, but the difference in monthly tuition always made us hesitate. Eventually, we decided that prioritizing our children's education, smaller classroom sizes, and individualized attention was worth the sacrifice--and from the very first day, we knew we had made the right decision. One of the biggest differences we noticed was how much our children are actually learning and engaging. We wanted a school where they weren't simply completing assignments on an iPad or relying heavily on programs like i-Ready, but where they were being truly taught, challenged, and encouraged to think. At Carden, our kids are reading actual books, writing, participating, and receiving the personal attention they need to grow academically and confidently. Mrs. Carrion and the entire Carden staff are absolutely amazing. They genuinely care about the children and take the time to know their students and their families. The environment is warm, personal, and welcoming, and the staff is always approachable. Our daughter is only 4 years old, and we are amazed by how well she can already express herself and communicate her thoughts. Watching both of our children grow in confidence, independence, and academics has made every sacrifice completely worth it. I'm so excited to continue making this investment in their education because I can see how hard they both work--and I truly believe the high expectations, strong academics, and personal attention at Carden are helping them become stronger, more confident students. We are so grateful we made the decision to choose Carden Academy. It truly feels like our children are exactly where they are meant to be! thank you Carden

Carden Academy of Whittier has been an incredible place for our family. What sets this school apart…read moreis its commitment to academic excellence while still nurturing each child as an individual. The teachers truly know their students and invest in both their educational and personal growth. The curriculum is rigorous and prepares students exceptionally well for high school and beyond. At the same time, the school emphasizes character, responsibility, respect, and confidence--qualities that are just as important as academics. Communication with families is excellent, and the administration is approachable, caring, and genuinely dedicated to the success of every student. The campus has a warm, family-like atmosphere where children are encouraged to challenge themselves while feeling supported. If you're looking for a private school that combines strong academics, high expectations, and a caring community, I highly recommend Carden Academy of Whittier. We are grateful to be part of such a special school.

I am writing to express my concern about the issue of bullying and favoritism at Santa Fe Christian School. My daughter, who is now in third grade, attended your Christian preschool in the past, where she was bullied by her classmates. She was embarrassed to tell us about it, but we later found out about the incidents. When my daughter was attending an afterschool daycare program, she was pushed by someone, and she push back in self-defense. Unfortunately, the teacher saw her punch the person, and my daughter was the one who got in trouble. This incident had a negative impact on her life, and she is still dealing with the consequences of it today. Due to the fear of being bullied again and the possibility of the school blaming her, my daughter has been an independent study since Covid. This is a problem that we are still dealing with to this day because the school did not do its part. We found that there was a great deal of favoritism at the private Christian school she was attending, and my daughter, as a person of color, was made to feel like a second-class citizen. As a parent, I am deeply concerned about my daughter's safety and well-being at school. No child should have to go through bullying or feel like they are being treated unfairly. I urge you to take this matter seriously and take immediate action to stop the bullying and address issues of favoritism at your school. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with an update on the actions taken to address this issue. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Jennifer Smith this is the email that I am writing to Scam. Please be aware I can have such a negative impact on your child's life.

They play at the football games and have also marched in the Norwalk Halloween Parade. I also suggested that my daughter try out for the Jazz Band which is 0 period. And I was happy to learn that they have study sessions before midterms and finals. That was pretty cool. I look forward to seeing what else is in store for her.

This incident occurred in October 2021, and it reflects serious concerns about student safety and…read morehow issues are handled at this school. My son was bullied by another student who also encouraged others to join in. He was pushed, dragged, hit, and even had his shoe taken off and thrown. When we reported this, the response from Vice Principal Jenny Amaya was extremely disappointing. She dismissed the situation by saying my son was "being annoying," which is not an acceptable justification for physical bullying. What made the situation worse is that the vice principal had my child change his statement without my authorization. She essentially coached him on what to say, and the revised statement appeared to minimize what happened and protect the school. This is where everything escalated and became even more concerning. There also appeared to be a conflict of interest, as the student who initiated the bullying was reportedly related to the vice principal. This raises concerns about fairness and whether the situation was handled objectively. At the time, the school also had a new principal who seemed unaware of what was going on, and no meaningful action was taken. I reported the issue to the district, but nothing was done. The lack of accountability and follow-through is very concerning. Overall, this experience left us feeling that the school does not provide a safe or supportive environment for all students. I hope improvements are made so that no other family has to go through a similar situation. Some teachers are great!
