This nursery is light and airy and very modern with a lovely outside space that gets used everyday by the children. The nursery is split into three groups depending on age and is situated on three levels. Tidiness and hygiene are very important here as well as ratios and welfare. Working with children is a very enjoyable thing and also having the comfort that your children are being looked after and are enjoying their time whilst learning is important to parents. Teddies will cater to both, whether you're looking to work with children or want to find your children a place to have fun and learn at a young age.

They were professional from our first contact, arranging a visit and as soon as we walked in both my son (single father to his son) and myself (Grandmother where I am his mothering figure) both said 'YES'. My Grandson loves that place. He has some additional needs and Little Acorns supported and quickly made the necessary referrals for our boy. He is sadly moving on to a school nursery in September. However, will be back in the School Holidays. Pure gem of a place and you will not be disappointed. THANKS TO ALL AT LITTLE ACORNS

The school has a very good ofstead report for both the infant and the junior school which makes it all the more appealing to sen dyour child out there. The foundation year staffs are very friendly and though firm I believe do a very good job in settling in the new students very quickly. The school also offers a healthy snack time to the children and teach them a lot of things which makes these kids independent.

It is probably great if you only have 1 child but with 3 it is impossible to keep your eye on all of them. I went with a friend that just had 1 and she struggled to watch just him. The place is massive and I felt uncomfortable not being able to find them. The upstairs cafe area was good, but there was a fight for seats anywhere near the play areas, almost literally when I was there!!

It is really difficult to make that decision, obviously, you are leaving your most precious possession in the care of someone else. Here, they make you feel at ease, they have separate rooms for each age group as it enables better child development. Food is prepared fresh, they take into consideration your babies routine at home, especially when they have just begun, they provide the nappies and milk of your choice, and the carers are really sweet and seem to genuinely enjoy their job (some more than others). The rooms are full of colour and active play, I am happy with our decision and the only reason it doesn't get that extra star its because there is no place like home.

They will also continue caring for her as they have this fantastic Wrap Around service - where they will drop her off to school for us, and even collect her after she finishes half day, give her some lunch and afternoon tea, and we can collect her when we finish work. She can also attend there on school holidays and inset days - which s fantastic as we both work. The have just spent over £30,000 in an enormous up grade and the buliding looks stunning and more spacious. The staff are very caring and kind. You feel like you are part of a large family and your child feels at home. They really do care about the parents/carers as well as the children. All the children have parent's meeting at least once a year where you meet with your child's keyworker and get an actual 'school report' on the progress of your child- even the babies which is really cute. You can meet with the Directors who are very hands on, down to earth people when you need to and there is an Area Manager who covers both of the nurseries and she manages the day to day running of the nurseries. There is an email address where you can make contact with the Managers or Directors if you are not able to get to the nursery meetings or make any suggestions. I would highly recommend this nursery as the place for your child - it gives you completly at ease and when you leave your child - you are comfortable in the knowledge that your child will be well looked after with lots of hugs and cuddles.
