One of the most beautiful beach I have been.
Playa La Esperanza is located on land owned by the Fideicomiso de Conservación de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico Conservation Trust). Is only open Friday through Sunday, and holidays, from 8am to 6pm. At other times, the gate across the entrance is kept locked butt! It's a way to going in! They kept a little entrance open ! You need to walk a mile to get to the beach , it's worth it ! Believe me ! Park you car outside and walk! The road is a little bumpy, with rocks and they don't have any lights, so u need to go with sunlight.
When the main entrance is open the parking lot is very small , probably 20 or 30 cars only, maybe less. If you wanna park inside be early.
The beach is like a pool ! Very calm and beautiful. It's incredible! When we went, it was low tide.
* no bathrooms ! No stores or restaurants near the beach !be aware that you need to take everything !
I need to go back ! I didn't go to the black sand beach ! It was too late !
This beach is a dream come true ! read more
