Playa Xago (pronounced Sha-goh) is another fairly popular beach with a very long and wide swatch of white sand. I think this is actually one of the largest beaches that is predominantly sand and almost no rocks. Sometimes it can be crowded. At the far end of the beach there's a place to grab a bite to eat, but it's waaaay far at the end. This beach is favored by surfers for its 3m waves and lack of rocks. I preferred to sun bathe. I spent many lively hours reading and tanning on this beach. read more
