Beautiful beach, totally unique absolutely worth a visit- the ocean has sculpted some truly spectacular rock formations at this beach. Cuevas del Mar is a white sand beach with terrifying huge rock arches sprinkled around the swimming area.
I have a healthy respect for the ocean and riptides so the big rocks freak me out a little, I kept thinking I was going to get smacked into them. I definitely would not bring kids to this beach because I'm a spazzy helicopter parent. But overall this beach is really cool for its uniqueness. Highly recommended. Sorry for the lack of pics, but I was too busy enjoying myself and trying not drown. Ha
As I recall this beach had showers and adequate parking. There was not a restaurant on site, so pack a lunch. No handicap ramp, unless things have changed. No place to surf at this location, due to the sea caves. read more
