I am not sure if you can access this beach without going through the hotel. We didn't see an access point but we didn't really look too thoroughly.
You can access it through the hotel (Hotel Villa Mexicana Bacocho) but you have to pay 80 MXN (if you're not a guest obviously). It comes with a hamburger and soda or two beers though so it's not a bad deal. We ended up parking right outside the hotel entrance (front desk) but I didn't see many spots. Ask the hotel and they can advise you. You pay at the front desk and walk down. It's a bit of a walk but not too bad.
The beach is lovely. It's a cove so the waves aren't too rough for swimming (unlike the gnarly waves at Playa Zicotela, best for surfers). They're not particularly mellow either and probably slightly more intense than the waves at Playa Carrizalillo. Still fine for swimming though. This beach is also not as pretty as Playa Carrizalillo but it's also much less crowded. Finally, it's a bit of a strange (but cool) experience due to the abandoned waterpark right behind you. It's all part of the hotel but is clearly not being utilized.
Nice beach if you want a little privacy and peace. read more
