I had a couple problems but nothing to write home about. 2010-2014 Fast forward to 2019 I place my second child in. There's a new director Amanda and the second maintainer is gone (Tim). Jacqui the owner is 100% the most unprofessional owner of any establishment I have ever visited much less had to conduct business with. During our short stay she took it upon herself to contact my ex spouse try and set up a personal meeting regarding our child. She withheld my child's daily progress reports with no prior conversations to me about it. The teachers had no idea what was going on or why just that they were told to "hold for Dad." When the director was asked about it she said she had no idea what was going on and accused me of trying to argue and refused to give me the paperwork. She told me I had to ask the owner. Upon calling the owner I left a message and request that she call me back. Once she had the director in place to hear the call as well she called back and said she forgot to tell me she had messaged dad and took it upon herself to hold the paperwork with no request from dad. This folks is a "snake in the grass." I liked my child's teachers so once my kids paperwork was released I left her in there and put her on another daycares waiting list. Fast forward to COVID-19 March 17,2020 I traveled with my children to a remote cabin on top of a mountain. Upon returning to the daycare I was informed she could not attend for 5 days due to travel but they would remain open for everyone else business as usual. (Let me say I over the director talking to the teachers the week before upon picking my kid up, saying that they wouldn't shut down because If they did they would not be able to charge the parents.... RED FLAG) I pled my case that my children had been exposed to me and woods and a McDonald's drive through for the weekend. This daycare is full of military families and not to mention the owner traveling on the same weekend .... I knew this was a unfair request and I requested that I not be charged for the week for abiding by their request for a healthy child to be out of day care. They refused to allow the non payment and said I would be charged for services non rendered. THIS IS ILLEGAL. Upon asking about the withdrawal process the director said I was being selfish for her protecting the other children and I shouldn't withdraw her for that. The owners response was actually "we prefer you to do so. I could go on and on about this director and owner personal lifestyle choices that don't allow for safe childcare to happen but I will allow each of you to feel it out for yourself. This place is the first to close when it is convenient for them where they will allow for collection of money. But will remain open during a worldwide pandemic when everyone else is closed. RED FLAG. They will choose money over the so called health of your children.

Not impressed. Brighton is a beautiful facility but that's it. Teachers are always on their phone…read moreand not supervising children. Upon entering the class, teachers can typically be found sitting down and not interacting with the kids. Boyfriends stop by to eat during nap time. Afterschool care is sometimes mixed in with younger kids, putting the class way over staff to kid ratio. The side door and main security door are often times left unlocked. If you are looking for quality teachers this is not the place to go.

Decided to try out the ymca since there's no where else to swim around here. Life guards were…read moreextremely rude. Would not allow our 1 year old to use his float that helps teach him how to swim on his own even though we were clearly accompanying him. Paid 20 dollars for a family pass and after 30 minutes they closed the pool AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLY. The pool bottom was absolutely filthy covered in dirt and I stepped in gum while swimming! Then the life guard had the nerve to say we swore at her when she told us we couldn't use the float. I specifically said it's for the baby that's stupid. She said well we have life vests while walking away. She didn't offer us one she just rudely stated they had them somewhere and left. Management approached us and said she stated we used profanity towards her and it be best we not come back. Not sure where that's swearing but next time I'll be sure to cuss her out and I let management know that as well. You can keep your rude useless life guards and filthy pool believe me we have no desire to ever return.

There is fun in our curriculum children learn with their friends. While playing they learn to share and build good friendships.and have creative play. There is plenty of outside play time as well. They also receive tasty child friendly meals each day.They enjoy this and will say time to eat,eat and are excited to have their meal. I can say this to be true because I have worked for child care for two years tomorrow. Please steer clear of this place!! I witnessed so much bad when bringing my babies. I saw Mrs roro…read morespank her one year olds in front of the camera and I've always seen her every time I went back so clearly no one cared, another teacher would drag her own child to the bathroom and whoop him, I've heard teachers physically threaten the children in a "funny" tone of voice and also scream at the top of their lungs at the children, I've listened to the 3 year old's teacher who looks young enough to be in middle school talk about her love and sex life in FRONT of the children who are old enough to repeat it (and best believe they repeated it. I've also seen what she wears to work, heels, extremely short dresses and skirts. Why would anyone wear that to a daycare where you're supposed to be on your feet for hours?), as well as Ms roro talking about doing drugs and rolling blunts in front of the kids and with the other teachers, they have a mother who isn't on payroll come in and cook for the children and watch the children (so if something happened under her watch they'd undoubtedly lie to the parents about it because she isn't even supposed to be there!!! Let alone cooking for the kids! That's more than enough to get them shut down by the state), and when going to the infants room I've noticed multiple of their cameras do not actually work. So if something did happen to someone's baby, they'd likely never have a solid answer because the damn cameras don't even work!!! These people have also lied straight to my face when I asked them if one of my sweet babies was getting disciplined physically because he'd tell me when he got home that he was whooped. One time.. maybe it's a fluke, but 2, 3, 4, 5 times is more than enough for me to call them liars. It was written all over their faces. This place NEEDS to be shut down. I'm working on reporting them to the state and I will report them every single week if I have to until that place is GONE! Our children need to be loved and protected, this isn't the place for that!! I will tell every single person I know with a child to watch out for this place. It left me heartbroken, no one deserves to witness what I witnessed and hear the words my child spoke. Please beware and tell everyone you know, and please take the time out of your day to report this horrible horrible place to the state.
