I wish I could review the actual service but i did not use their stick around long enough to get my…read morecar cleaned. Although I had a scheduled appointment for detailing, due to the rudeness of the employees and my general concern for the level of service I would receive I decided not to leave my car for service. When I arrived there was no one in the "office" to check with so I started to drive around the building to see if I needed to enter at another door. Once I finally met someone from the car wash I was rudely told to take my car back to the other side of the building. After moving my vehicle, I went back to the door and didn't see anyone in the office so I went back to the door where I had seen the employee who told me where to park. While going through that door to the now occupied office I overheard one employee telling the other "that guy isa f#£€ing idiot". For a moment I decided to let it go and handed my keys to the other employee. After a moment of thought I realized I didn't want to count on employees with that kind of attitude cleaning my vehicle. I'm not sure if they do a good job with detailing but I'm pretty sure i won't be finding out anytime soon. After looking for more options on Yelp, there are other more high rated places in the area that I will gladly be patronizing.

There's a new place in town. On Robbins Road. Quality car wash…read more Fast, efficient and your car gets clean. But it is $8. Here at GH Auto Wash, it's only $7....so I thought! Not anymore! I actually was going to Quality....it was a sunny day in February....rare in West Michigan. I wanted the salt off my vehicle, But there was a sign at Quality "temporarily closed" so I head over to this place. Busy, but moving along. I could tell the employees weren't too engaged with their jobs....I get, you're working at a car wash. I was suprised there was no sign telling the price of the wash. Figured it was still $7....nope. Nine bucks now! As usual they did a half ass job spraying off the back end of my vehicle.

This place is a couple of years old now. It's a new facility compared to their competitor "Touch…read moreof Class" about a mile north. Both places charge $10 for the basic wash, QCW refers to it as the "Quality" wash. But for $22, you get unlimited Quality washes for the month. So after your third wash, you're ahead of the game. There are wash upgrades of what services they can provide. All upgrades are performed by the automated wash. There is no human labor involved in the cleaning process. With each upgrade both the single wash and monthly pass prices go up. Takes about 5 minutes for the entire wash. Machine does a pretty good job drying, but I bring a few old rags in my trunk to wipe off the extra water and shine up some spots the wash rags misses. I also open up doors and trunk and dry the door jams. They provide a free vacuum, as does their competitor. I bring this up because their sister location on Sternberg Rd only provides complimentary vacs if you have the monthly pass. The vacs do a great job. Basically they suck. Also for an additional charge, you can get your mats scrubbed. However it only works on flat mats. WeatherTech won't make it through the machine.

Value: I had purchased the holiday unlimited ultimately deal b3g1 month for the family. The convenience is unmatched, but the wash isn't always very great. Sometimes I have to go through twice, just to get a dirty car fully clean. I wish this one had mirrors so we could see prior to driving away or having to get out of your car. Also, not a fan that the staff don't put the plastic protector on at this location as they do elsewhere. Overall, I love the convenience, but not always the price. I'd never consider it without the unlimited as it's very costly.

Had car towed to my mechanic and he found that oil filter was almost totally unscrewed. Oil was covered all over undercarraige of car. My mechanic changed the oil and filter and car engine was fine. I stopped by PP and asked to speak to mgr. Asst Mgr said mgr was not in but he could assist. I told him my situation and that everything was OK with engine. I wanted him to know that he needs to make sure his employees ensure oil filter is installed properly. Asst mgr made copies of PP invoice from mid march AND the $100 invoice of oil change performed by my mechanic to correct my issue. Asst mgr said that the employee that performed the UPPER work of oil change no longer worked there and that Asst mgr would discuss with mgr when mgr was back and let me know what they could do for me. I told asst mgr it would be great if they could credit my credit card for the original oil change that they performed. He would check with mgr. I spoke to mgr after Memorial Day Holiday weekend. He stated that he would have to go through Corporate for refund. He stated that his Asst mgr said that all I wanted was to let them know of issue I had and that everything was OK. Mgr questioned my motives of wanting a refund for the oil change that PP did. At this point, I realized that Mgr did not want to make things right, So I decided to share my experience through this review. I thank god that the engine was not damaged. Cant imagine what excuses would have been given if my engine was damaged. Moral of the Story: ALWAYS have a certified licensed mechanic perform oil change. It does not cost that much more and you can bet that he will have your back and make things right if something needs rectifying.
