The main thing that stood out to me was his excellent communication and ability to make sure he gives you exactly the cut that you have envisioned. Came across this place in Yelp, called to make appointment the staff very nice, the kids wanted design warriors logo and number 30 for Stephen curry and Castro hooked it up, Joey cut there hair and aceil line me up with a fade and clean up the eyebrows. Coming from Cali this place is cheap, fast and has some good service. $10 hair cuts with $5 designs and make sure you tip good cause it's hard work. When I said I didn't know what that meant, I clearly explained that I wanted a neat, traditional businessman's haircut--not extremely short and not a boot-camp cut. He cut virtually everything with electric clippers, including the top, running them over my head like a lawnmower. He trimmed my eyebrows aggressively with the clippers and did not do any final snipping with scissors. After removing the neck strip, he trimmed the back again, allowing loose hair to fall down my shirt. I was getting out of the chair in less than 10 minutes. What bothered me most was that he did not use a razor to clean up around my ears or neck. In all my years of going to barbershops, I have experienced that only once before, at another place calling itself a barbershop. It is something I normally associate with a styling salon rather than a traditional barbershop. I cannot speak to this person's licensing, but the experience left me wondering. This felt like a rushed, assembly-line clipper cut--not professional barbering. It was the second-worst haircut I've had since my actual boot-camp haircut. If you want a traditional barber's haircut with proper scissor and razor finishing, ask questions before sitting in the chair. I will not return.
