The dinning options are on the 3rd floor and under Midtown is Fresko. The Food at Midtown is okay. The Kiosks on the 3rd floor are okay and are your typical mall offerings, fries, tacos, burgers, and the likes. There are some restaurants and fast food options. TIP 1: Do not skip on Fresko. Make sure to check it out. If you are staying multiple days at the Hilton, you can get some daily staples like bottled waters, snacks, and other things if you've forgotten to pack them TIP 2: The food court area has arondeck chairs and lounge areas to watch sports or movies. Its a great way to relax. The drop off and pick up area can get congested for Taxis and RideShares so make sure you are ready as the pickups come fast and know the car, license plate, and driver. If you are driving, there is valet. This is especially helpful if you are staying at the Hilton. Midtown is not a tourist destination but brand destination and if you're into that, then its there for you.

My five-year-old daughter and I went for the Wokivia: Welcome Imagination, a kid play zone, on the third floor. Here are a few favorites: 1) Play Areas: There's a medium-sized playground on the first floor and smaller one on the third level in the food court, which also has table tennis tables and fussball sets. 2) Food Court: There are cafes and restaurants throughout, but there's a dedicated food court with fountains and lots of plants on the third floor. 3) Restrooms: They have them throughout and are free. They are also very clean. 4) Charging Stations: There are charging stations in the food court on the third floor.

This Sunday market has become the highlight of my visits to Guadalajara. The quality of the…read moremerchandise is quite good, with worthwhile contemporary art, mixed in with religious and secular antiques. Be sure to stop by the Trocadero antique store (just across the street from the market) to see a shop full of quality antiques (Mexican and European) at fair prices. Suggest arriving after 9:00 am since that's when most dealers are just beginning to set up. If you mention "trocadero" to taxi drivers they'll get you there (somewhat difficult to find on your own). I've never experienced any safety concerns at the market.

However, for 1st time in 18 days in Guadalajara, did anyone ask to take the item and hold it at cashier. So, I said I may want to buy more stuff. She's like it's our policy. I'm not sure because as I looked around to find someone holding their items I couldn't find. So, I asked to speak to manager who was missing in action for like 30 minutes. Finally, we both used translator to speak to each other. Both of them apologized, but never said whether it's their policy which is a horrible policy. I was trying to give them the rest of my money before I left. I was in such a good mood b4 they slapped the smile off my face so early in the morning. I bought, the item, and left because I have a Bermuda vacation coming up & thought that outfit would be so cooling & nice on a hot day. Not sure what else the store has because I didn't get a chance to see before store employee walked over acting like she was helping just to upset my flow. So, the Donkey store of the week in Guadalajara is this one. Do not shop there. If that's their policy it's a horrible policy to have. Shop at Liverpool which is like a small Macys or Surburia also nice & they have a bathroom because In Mexico you have to pay 6 pesos to use public bathroom. I needed a Starbucks coffee after these idiots try to spoil my day. I told them they lost a future customer. I'll be doing regular business in Guadalajara so they're losing money. Now I know why store was sorta empty. Nobody in their right mine frequent a store they don't feel comfortable. You've been warned. Adios!

The fish was ok though. Bottom line for me. Enjoy the show, have a drink and an appetizer. Bring cash. The main course is not worth it. Beware! They don't take credit or EBT cards. No signs to let you know this either and nobody says a thing until you ask for the check. Never again will I eat here.
