In response to reviewer who complained about price changes, I think they don't realize the…read morevolatility of the Turkish lira, especially during the pandemic and under the current leadership. I've also been in touch with the practice since before the pandemic. Price differences were explained either by changes in the exchange rate, the hospital fees, or the switch to a Euro/USD based payment given aforementioned currency volatility. Now, here's my experience with the clinic! The staff is wonderful. If you're like me, you'll have a million questions. They will answer with the patience of saints. I spoke mostly with Elvira over text, and even though my surgery was over a year out, she always responded, and was very flexible in helping me plan. At the clinic itself Arda dealt with me; he's so personable and friendly, and makes you feel super comfortable with the practice. He, too, answered my many questions. The team is definitely worthy of the doctor. As for the surgery itself, I absolutely ADORE the outcome. There's still a bit of swelling, since my surgery was recent, but the shape of the bridge and the nostrils already show a substantial improvement. It looks doll-like, but in the most natural way possible. I'm much happier every time I look in the mirror, and that boost of happiness every time is priceless. I'll try to post pictures in the future, but if you look at the galleries in the website and their Instagram page you'll get a taste of his style. I had thick skin at the tip and a rare asymmetry that's very difficult to correct, so I underestimated how important it was to find a good surgeon: it also means I was extra lucky to have found this clinic. About Dr. Tas, I could gush for several pages. I'll try to keep it short, but know that a few paragraphs won't do him justice. I work with a lot of doctors at my part-time job, and one thing I've learned is that the difference in quality between two doctors with the same credential is astounding. Medicine is hard. Surgery is really hard. Revision rates in surgery are high. This isn't like shopping for clothes. You're trusting someone to cut and reshape your face. They aren't all equally good at it. You're putting your body under stress, and you're putting your faith in the skills of your doctor, who is also a person, not a magician. Your body is way more complicated than an anatomical model or some clay, and behind those cute nose job pictures on Instagram is absurd amounts of training. As a doctor, Dr. Tas' skills are impeccable. He does a lot of revisions (way harder than primary - a great sign) and his own revision rate is absurdly low. He does closed rhinoplasties, which are technically much harder, with a faster recovery, than open ones. He obviously has all the awards and certifications, and more importantly the experience. He sees patients from around the world and does several surgeries a day, so he's seen everything when it comes to nose types. He's not just a skilled doctor, but an artist (no, seriously, check out his sculptures) and also a teacher (a clinical professor). I've discussed his work with my boss, who used to do facial surgery before switching to orthodontics, and he was really impressed. Clinically, Dr. Tas is a superstar. And yet somehow, as a person he's even better. I used to think it didn't matter if a surgeon was kind or patient as long as they got the job done. But after my experiences at work, and after reading horror stories in the plastic surgery industry, I realized that personality often translates to clinical integrity. Dr. Tas is genuinely the kindest doctor I've met. He's a perfectionist and takes his job very seriously, but he doesn't act the way you'd expect someone with his skill to, and hardly confirms stereotypes of surgeons. I felt reassured as soon as I met him. I deeply admire not only his talent but his character. I'm not easily impressed by doctors, and I'm not easily impressed by people. But Dr. Tas is truly exceptional, and I respect and recommend him and his practice wholeheartedly.

My Experience with Dr. Tas and His Neck Lift Procedure…read more I had a neck lift performed by Dr. Tas in January 2024 hoping to address loose skin and achieve a more youthful appearance. Unfortunately, the results were deeply disappointing, leaving me with uneven lumps on both sides of my chin, uneven tightening, and visible scarring (photos before and after are attached). In November 2023 I had my initial consultation with Dr. Tas. I was quoted $38,000 for the procedure--a significant amount, but I justified it because I believed in his professionalism and skill. To secure the appointment, I wired $10,000 as a deposit. The procedure was scheduled for January 23, 2024. However, just before my arrival, I was informed that the price had increased to $71,500. Feeling trapped, I scaled back some procedures and paid $50,000 in cash to proceed--without receiving a receipt for the payment. I feared losing my $10,000 deposit if I walked away. Looking back, I regret not walking away despite the deposit, as the decision to proceed has proven devastating. Dr. Tas initially presented himself as polite and confident, even claiming he had "magic hands." Unfortunately, he did not explain the potential risks or adequately manage my expectations. During the surgery, I was given an overdose of anesthesia, leaving me with blurry vision that persisted for weeks and still hasn't fully resolved. The care at the hospital was subpar--nurses didn't speak English, and the room and facility were the worst I've ever experienced. After the surgery, I noticed sagging skin under my chin--a problem I didn't have before--and uneven lumps that became more prominent over time. When I raised my concerns, the lack of support was disheartening. Elvira, a staff member, frequently ignored my messages for weeks. When she finally replied, she suggested laser treatments, which were completely ineffective and felt like a stalling tactic. After eight months of no improvement, I scheduled an in-person appointment with Dr. Tas. I paid for my flight and hotel out of pocket. During the appointment, he assured me that the issues were minor and promised to fix them at no additional cost. Trusting him again, I scheduled a follow-up appointment to correct the sagging skin and visible lumps under my chin. Once again, communication was frustrating--I had to send multiple messages to Elvira before receiving a reply. She eventually scheduled me for December 9th. I purchased my ticket and booked accommodations, only to arrive at the clinic and be told I needed to pay an additional $3,000 for the corrective procedure, which involved only two stitches. I refused, as I had already paid $50,000 for results that left me worse off than before. When Dr. Tas was informed, he came out to address me, and his demeanor completely changed. The polite facade disappeared, and he acted aggressively, refusing to take responsibility. His true demon character revealed itself, and I realized I could no longer trust him--not even if he offered to fix the issues for free or refund my money. I regret not researching more thoroughly beforehand. I later found numerous negative reviews from other patients on platforms like Google and Reddit, which could have saved me from this nightmare. This experience has been distressing both emotionally and financially. The entire process cost far more than I anticipated, and the results have left me feeling worse than before the surgery. I strongly urge anyone considering a facelift, neck lift, or any procedure with Dr. Tas to conduct extensive research and think carefully before proceeding. If anyone wishes to contact me directly, you can find me on Facebook..

When I first saw Dr. Murat in the clinic, I was amazed by the way he examined my nose. They say for a doctor to be successful, he/she needs to be compassionate, knowledgeable, and skillful. Dr. Murat Pençe is indeed very compassionate, knowledgeable, and skillful. He is successful because he cares about his patients before surgery, and cares about them after surgery. I am so happy I got to meet Dr. Murat and be his patient. I was amazed by his friendly personality and willingness to help me. I am not Turkish but I am happy I made the right decision to be his patient. Dr. Murat is very talented and I like to say that he is an (artist) because he knows what fits each face and what makes someone more beautiful. The best thing is that he does all he can to make his patients happy and to get the best outcome out of the surgery. He thinks for the patient's benefit. Thank you very much Dr. Murat for the wonderful experience and the continuous support and care. You answered all my questions in a timely manner and were always there to help me. You are a role model and an example of the successful plastic surgeon and role model. I recommend Dr. Murat Pençe for whoever is planning/looking for a plastic surgeon. Trust me, you will never regret it! Thanks once again Dr Murat. God bless you. You're the best!

Poor communication and disorganized coordination were the main reasons I decided not to move…read moreforward with Dr. Baris Cakir. When you're considering rhinoplasty surgery, clear and timely communication should be a basic expectation from your provider and their team. You need confidence that your surgeon and their team can answer basic questions clearly and timely, explain your treatment plan, and provide reliable support before and after surgery. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. After being approved for rhinoplasty by Dr. Baris Cakir and seeing several photos that I sent, I received a WhatsApp voice message from Dr. Cakir explaining his proposed treatment plan. The recording was extremely poor quality, with several sections muted or inaudible. I used WhatsApp's voice-to-text transcription to make sense of it, but there were still multiple blank inaudible sections because parts of the recording had no audible sound. Because I couldn't fully understand the treatment plan, I sent three follow-up questions that same day to Dr. Cakir's coordinator requesting clarification. A couple of weeks passed without any answers to these questions from Dr. Cakir or his team, and during this time, Dr. Cakir's coordinator contacted me twice asking me to select a surgery date, despite my unanswered questions and never having spoken to Dr. Cakir via an online consult (something I requested but was never scheduled). Dr. Cakir and his team prioritized selecting a surgery date over making sure I understood or felt comfortable with the proposed treatment plan or even having an online consult first. The responses from his team were robotic rather than personalized. It was uncomfortable and frankly unprofessional and lacked empathy. My biggest concern was the communication itself. If simple pre-operative questions took weeks to address, it made me question what communication would be like after surgery, when timely responses could be much more important. Bottom line: Expect long wait times for answers to basic questions. Communication is a critical part of any surgical experience, especially for rhinoplasty and other facial procedures where follow-up care matters. Before committing to surgery, consider whether you're comfortable with this minimal level of responsiveness that you will receive--not just before the operation, but during post recovery as well. Remember rhinoplasty has a very high revision rate. Choose wisely.

My mother got face and neck lift, upper and lower eyelift, endoscopy brow lift. No results at all from ANY of the procedures. None at all. He botched her eyes so bad. He left the top eyelid covered in lumps and bumps. And sewn her eyes down so she now has a sad tired look now. Without her consent he gave her a temporal brow lift instead of the endoscopy brow lift she wanted and paid for. Temproril just lifts the outer corner of your eye brows,a endoscopy gets rid of for head wrinkles. Why would he give a 70 year old woman a temporal. No results from any of the very costly procedures Dr Cil just made her look worse with the botched eyes. He stitched her up so bad. She was left with jagged uneven stitches with big bumps in front and behind ears. He also lied and said all stitches were dissolvable. They were not and because in for so long she had to be rushed to hospital in our home country because they were infected so bad. She could have died. I received lip lift, upper eyelift and endoscopy brow lift from Dr Cil. Again without Informing me or getting my consent he performed a temporal brow lift on me instead of the endoscopy I wanted and paid for. Again no results at all from the surgerys. But he left folds in my top eyelids I never had before. Also my stitches on sides of head got Infected from being lied to saying they are dissolvable when they were not. What kind of doctor is this its like he just cut us open did nothing and badly sewn us back together again. Dr Cil is a horrible plastic surgery who doesn't care for his patients outcomes and is in to much of a rush. We believe Medical Park Hospital just SCAMS foreigners. Scams us for money. Medical Park has taken no accountability for this happening. We paid so much money just to have no results and be left with botched eyes. DO NOT GO TO MEDICAL PARK HOSPITAL and DR YAKUP CIL for plastic surgery. You will leave looking worse. Scam artist. Date of experience: 09 November 2023

Our daughter had surgery performed in the Medical Park Goztepe Hospital June 20th 2011 by Dr…read more Ramirez. When she recently asked for her medical records, another surgeon, Dr. Ileri (a former staff member) was recorded as the surgeon in medical records. Her true surgeon Dr. Ramirez is not recorded in any records. It was also said that the patient had had a consult with Dr. Ileri prior to surgery. Our daughter had had a consult with Dr. Ramirez, and was in the understanding Dr. Ramirez performed surgery on her, as well as on other patients. In fact, this is also claimed by Dr. Ramirez in emails to our daughter, and she had been a patient of Dr. Ramirez prior and after surgery performed in the Medical Park Goztepe Hospital. Dr. Ileri helped to arrange for a hotel and the payment in cooperation with Dr. Ramirez, however never did she discuss any surgery details prior to surgery with our daughter. Dr. Ileri is a former resident of Dr. Ramirez and the mother of one of his daughters; she has not been the surgeon performing surgery on our daughter however. That surgeon was Dr. Ramirez. When our daughter pointed out that the incorrect surgeon was recorded in her medical records, staff member Mrs. Denizer, blaimed our daughter of 'out of line' and illegal behavior in front of other staff members, saying she had enquired about other patients' records. This while our daughter asked for her own medical records. In addition Mrs. Denizer told our daughter Turkish regulations allow to have only a staff member of the hospital (such as Dr. Ileri) 'on file' if a 'visiting professor' comes to perform surgery. Consulting with an attorney, we were told this is absolutely incorrect. We are worried that a patient can be treated this way, and that it is possible to receive medical records with the incorrect surgeon in them from a hospital such as the Medical Park Goztepe Hospital. It has been a stressful experience for our daughter. We hope this surprising and worrisome treatment of a patient, is not the result of an (as stated by Mrs. Denizer) renowned surgeon having performed surgery in the hospital and that a hospital such as the Medical Park Goztepe Hospital would keep patient safety and regulations in mind even if it concerns a renowned surgeon. We have not received a response of Mrs. Denizer to our question to receive contact information of a supervisor.
