The employees/insurance agents are always kind and professional. I sometimes ask them if I can change the payment date and they allow it. They do it without any issues. I've dealt with different employees. The one who stands out the most for me is Jose. Jose is always in a good mood and ready to help and answer questions. I've only dealt with him over the phone. You can tell he likes his job (or pretends very well but I seriously doubt he's pretending). He's built a good rapport with me. He's very pleasant to deal with. Lonestar in general is very easy to deal with. Take my money, Lonestar! By the way, another insurance company recently asked me for my business. They are a few dollars less but that's alright. We submitted all of our paperwork to Butterworth & Macias a month prior to taxes being due. We…read moreheard that they received everything and would begin working on our taxes. When we didn't hear anything 3 days before taxes were due, we were told they filed an extension. This would have been nice to know. We then followed up a week later to know where our taxes were and Steele was unable to tell us what was happening and never followed up with us. I then call their office, and their receptionist assures me there will be no fees for filing late. Weeks later, they finally finish our taxes, and to my surprise, there was over $150 in fees we owed to the IRS because we filed late and absolutely no explanation of our taxes owed (which was a lot more than we expected). The lack of communication, deceitfulness, and unprofessionalism is aggravating to say the least. To top it off our bill is over $500 that we owe B&M for poor services.
