The last one, walked into the room, did not identify herself, and the first thing she said was that she had only 10 minutes to spend, so we have to keep moving! (2) Trying to reach a nurse to leave a question was impossible. Each time I would have to leave a question with a concierge receptionist and hope that I would get a call back somewhat promptly. There were a couple of times this worked but for the most part it did not. The last time I waited 10 days to get an answer on a condition I was feeling after a procedure. (3) although the actual MD's that performed two different procedures that I had were most likely qualified... During the procedure they loudly chatted with their staff about personal social things rather than keeping their attention on me... Their patient! (4) the follow-my-chart portal was not user-friendly in the slightest. You are not able to respond to something that might've been sent to you, which made things awkward. If there were errors in my medical records, I could not speak with someone about correcting on the phone or online, but rather I would have to hand- write the errors and mail them in. All in all... I am fed up with the factory-like atmosphere and rude nurse practitioners.

Dr. Bonavita is our primary care physician, and he is truly one of those doctors you feel incredibly fortunate to find. He is approachable, knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely a jack-of-all-trades. He listens, takes our concerns seriously, and does everything he can to address our needs himself. When a specialist is necessary, he makes the appropriate referral but remains involved and continues to support our care. One of the greatest strengths of this practice is that this level of care isn't limited to our primary physician. When Dr. Bonavita hasn't been available, we've seen several other providers within the practice, including Dr. Christopher Adiletta, Dr. Joseph Augustine, Dr. Nicholas Augustine, Dr. Paul Fiacco, Dr. James Tarala, Jonathan Sicilia, FNP-C, and Ruth McDonald, PA-C. These are just some of the providers we've had experience with, but our experiences have been so positive that when we're in a pinch and Dr. Bonavita isn't available, I actually look for these providers because they seem to mirror his thoughtful, attentive style of patient care. That speaks volumes about the practice as a whole. They are a network of providers with many different strengths, and they seem to use those strengths collectively to provide a remarkably consistent level of primary care. We originally received our own care here and eventually moved our children from their pediatric practice after struggling to find the same level of care and continuity we had experienced ourselves. Having our entire family cared for within the same practice has been incredibly valuable. Our primary physician knows us and our family history, so there is greater visibility into aspects of our own health that may also be relevant to our children's care. That continuity and bigger-picture understanding of our family is something we deeply value. I was even in my doctors office when they faxed it and they continue to tell me they don't have it. It only pertains to narcotic medication's and they continue to lie. My doctor called herself to give authorization, and they continue to say they haven't received it. I've been taking this medication for seven years. A prescription is the best authorization that you can give if a doctor is right in that prescription. I can't wait to sign up with another company because this company is no good.
