I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see a show, even though I thought it would be too early to…read morego-around 9 pm on a Saturday night. When they heard I was an English speaker they did a few jokes in English, which was nice. The performances were high energy and good vibes. Nice to have a drag king in addition to the queens. And lots of Rihanna-great beats! The audience was in a good mood and friendly. No meat market feel-also no other singles that I saw when I was there. Everyone appeared to have come with friends or on a date. The place was full, but not oppressively so. As I was leaving it was getting more crowded with a line outdoors and at the entrance. I didn't expect to see as many women as I did too-a nice surprise. The audience felt straighter than I'm used to in a gay bar in the States: 2 bridal showers when I was there and several male-female tables I assume were couples. Kind of gave me a spectator feel rather than being strictly "family," but on the upside it was very welcoming of everyone. Enjoyed my rum punch. I was surprised that they cashed me out after my first drink...maybe that's standard in Quebec? I'm used to running a tab and likely would've stayed later and ordered a second drink or food if that had been the case. I was surprised at how big the place was. People were both seated outside and in another room I saw on my way to the bathroom. The restrooms are down the stairs and then up a short flight, which I imagine can be tricky in high high heels and a tight skirt once sloshed. Go before you have your first drink It's a great time and place to visit-whether queer (like me) or just appreciating the glitz, glam, and talent of the performers.

Le Drague is multi-function..... a cabaret, a club and a place of entertainment for shows, trivia, karaoke, etc... Got a few beers, enjoyed people watching. It gets busy late at night, but we were there at non peak hours....

The staff here…read moretake safety precautions seriously and you can tell that they try to make this place enjoyable for everyone. There is a skating rink below for extra pricing. My son was measured over at 44 inches but at home he is below that and my younger son they said he was just over 36 inches so I had to pay more even though I know he is under that height. I didn't argue, I wish I just didn't pay for my younger son as he went on only 2 rides the carousel and the car (which he didn't even want to go on). Anyways, I liked that this place was in the mall so we took lunch break and had food at the food court. Also lots of store options for shopping including Simon's. The boys had a good time and that's all I cared about. My older one enjoyed the bumper cars and the 4D theatre the most.

It's so cool you can do indoor skating inside a small. The ice rink was lit up everywhere with LED and all the rides around it gives off a indoor carnival feeling. There's a washroom along the skating rink where you can walk right in with your skates for easy access. We weren't able to get a big locker because it was all used so we ended up getting 2 smaller. Large locker are $8 and small lockers are $4.00. It's not one time used so you can go in and out of the locker as much you want. No time limit either. Resurfacing the ice takes 30min so you'll need to plan around that. Best to take off your skates and walk around the mall and then come back. It's cool they gave their zamboni a steam punk look.

When we arrived there was a Titanic exhibit. Unfortunately we ran out of time and energy to go to it. Hoping to be able to come back and see it. It's a wonderful learning experience - a lot of wow moments and moments of tears as we learned about the rich history of the area. There are many different "rooms" to explore, it can get crowded, so keep an eye on the little ones, as they can easily move to other rooms with the waves of people. The family favorites - the singing station, the fire exit interactive board, and "crowd surfing", influencing peoples choices through doors, by pressing colors, looking for the squirrels and of course the cafe. LOL The gift shop was great too. I was able to purchase locally made gloves, which ended up being perfect for walking around the Christmas markets. I highly recommend visiting this museum - if you are looking to do a little learning and need some indoors time.
