If you skip this shop, you are missing out on a unique experience you'll probably never find any other place on this planet. I'm literally and physically blown away with he great fragrances this guy can make on the spot! I got 1221, he calls it the apple pie fragrance, apples, cinnamon and vanilla. What a gem! The man's fragrance I got is another killer. Incense, vanilla and cloves. I wear these perfumes and I get comments from almost everybody who smells it. And if the fragrances are not only precious, but the prices are accessible to everybody. I can see some of these perfumes being sold in retail shops hitting hundreds of dollars.

Prices are very competitive (e.g. Eau de Parfum, 30ml, 13 EUR!). Delivery was super fast, as was the extremely friendly customer service. Great experience. In the future I will only order here - as the mainstream parfumes typically cost 40-70 EUR, are of lesser quality (eau de toilette) and can be found on many other people.

All of the perfumes and cosmetics are made on premises, and the perfumes are aged in the castle celler. On Saturdays there is a special tour and explanation of the perfumery arts (I missed it, but hope to be back again some day..) And the perfumes are very interesting, with a large selection and friendly, knowledgable salesperson to help you pick out the right one for you. Stop in here after you tour the castle, and pick up an authentic, one of a kind perfume connected to this region and the castle - the best kind of souvenir.

I wish I'd had hours to spend sniffing things and talking with the charming and knowledgeable owner (who speaks English and French, and possibly Dutch as well), but I was on a tight schedule: I still managed to find something I loved, and ended up getting a generous assortment of samples too, including three from a line the owner is launching. If you're a perfume aficionado you must not miss this shop when you're in Brussels.
