We were fortunate enough to be offered a used spa but having gone through this before, the big issue in saying yes or no was could we find a spa mover? We called Dublin Spa who we trust and they referred us to Plan B Spa Movers. They got back to me after one text and made appointment within 2 days! Steven and Tyler were our movers and were awesome! They called me before they moved the spa to ask if I knew it needed a new cover (I did) and there was one small crack. We got this from a family member but I thought it was so nice they were looking out for us before they moved it. When they got to our house to move it to our backyard, they were amazingly efficient with mostly low tech moving equipment and their knowledge, strength and expertise which was not low tech! They moved the spa like they had done it a thousand times before which they had! Very experienced! Once they got the spa in place, they gave us some ideas on where to go for a cover, get new filters and how to repair a crack so it doesn't continue to crack. Unfortunately I have to give Plan B Spa movers a bad review. I hired the company after reading the great reviews. We hired them to move our spa from the house we purchased it from (whitter) to our home in Beaumont. We paid them $285.34 reasonable for the long commute. Unfortunately they damaged the property at the house in whitter. The home owner sent us a bill of $350. We called mike and send the bill over also providing photos of the broken bricks. We spoke with him about paying it and giving him a couple days he has blocked our calls. Ignored our text, voicemail, and emails. Instead of giving us our money back which is $285.34 and out of pocket for them would be a measly $64.66 We now have to take them to small claims court. I'm super disappointed it has to come to this. Bottom line up front- I sold my hot tub and need to have it professionally moved from my house to the buyer 30 miles away. I called several movers and was quoted anywhere from $400-$800 plus, and this was from regular moving companies. Luckily, while on the way to work one morning, I saw the Plan B moving van and copied down the number. I passed it on to the folks I sold the spa to and BAM!!, it was taken care of. This is really a late review...we actually used this service a couple years ago. We purchased a HotSpring Prodigy spa from a guy who lived about 10 miles away from us but had no clue how to get it safely from his home to ours. We started looking online to find movers and read about this company. Then we happened to be at a store that sells new spas when this same moving company was picking up a spa to be delivered. We talked with the sales person who said they contract all their deliveries through Plan B and have never had any problems. We gave them a call for a quote which was very reasonable, and set up the pick up for a couple days later. The 2 guys who came to move it couldn't have been nicer and they were very efficient. They were so careful and set it up right where we wanted it. If we were to move our spa again, I wouldn't even consider calling anyone else! read more

Upon delivery, we had a few hiccups with the opening space to allow our new jacuzzi to be delivered. Mike's crew spent the time to try and figure it out. They couldn't do it (no fault of their own) and had to leave it in our garage. After I got home and put a call into Mike (the owner), he came out on his own time before dinner and brainstormed with us so we wouldn't have to use a crane. Thankfully we were able to have our neighbors cut some branches off their tree and Mikes crew returned 2 days later, squeezing us in, to make the impossible happen. We got our spa from Costco.com. Costco only drops it off in your driveway so I called Plan B. We scheduled them for the following day. 2 guys came and moved our spa from the driveway to our backyard. We had a tree that made it difficult but they pulled it off very nicely. They didn't damage anything and were very nice. What a TERRIFIC experience!! My call was answered the first time I phoned, which in today's marketplace is, in itself, just shy of a miracle! Michael was VERY knowledgeable in regard to what I needed (spa move) and walked me through the process, asking me for measurements along the way. We worked together over the phone for just 10 minutes or so, and made the appointment for the move. He was able to fit me in within a few days, and he showed up with a crew of 4, including himself. They were very kind, and efficient. They were able to move the spa to the agreed upon place, even going UP 14 steep stairs! Four days after delivery, I had a question about an error I was reading on my spa. Of course, I went to the internet and googled service people in my area. Plan B came up first in the search, and because I had Michael programmed in my phone already, I shot him a quick text, telling him about my issue and wondering if he had time to stop by, anytime soon... He called me immediately and told me some things to try and IT TOTALLY SOLVED MY PROBLEM !! I can't tell you what a relief it was to have my problem solved within 5 minutes and NOT having to pay a technician for something I could do on my own. These guys are great! They pick up the phone right away, gave me a price right over the phone. They addressed my concerns about how they were going to move it without damage. The day of the move they called 30 minutes before arrival without asking, they got the spa out without incident down the side path over the front yard. Then called again to my wife who was accepting the spa at our house(getting it from another family) to say they were on there way. Got it right where we wanted it. We purchased a Michael Phelps swim spa from Spa Pool and BBQ show in Reno Nevada known as "MASTER POOL AND SPA". The spa company hired, "PLAN B SPA DELIVERY SERVICES", the swim spa was delivered at 5:30 PM on Saturday February 23, 2019. The two movers had to move our existing Jacuzzi in order to install the swim spa. We asked them ahead of time if that would be a problem and they said it wouldn't be. As they were moving the Jacuzzi, it struck a part of the concrete causing a break in the corner right panel and when we tried to fill it up it was leaking by the heater so a seal was also damaged. The Jacuzzi is under full warranty and is already in process of being repaired. The movers from Plan B were nice and saw the damage and immediately contacted their boss. They told me to take pictures and to call Mike and they would take care of it. Mike stopped answering the phone and passed the buck back to Master Spas. We tried calling several people to help direct us and we got number after number to call. We finally called and spoke with Kevin (Master Pool and Spa) and also called and spoke with Mike (Plan B Spa delivery services), both of these men were extremely defensive, cutting us off before we could even finish our sentences and asking continuous questions in order to say that they aren't going to do anything and they aren't responsible. It quickly became apparent that they assumed that we wanted money for the repair by the questions they were asking. My intention for the call was to let the team know what happens when you leave the Event Center. Given the quality of the product that was purchased, I truly thought I was doing a favor in letting everyone know that the experience falls short of MASTER POOL AND SPA'S core values. You know what would've been GREAT? If someone would've said, "sorry about that experience, how can we work together to turn this around?" Instead of pointing the finger at everyone else and not taking any ownership in resolving the issue. We will be out $90 for a service visit and the panel was $75. The rest is warrantied and will be changed out without cost. Great service starts with the statement and can only be maintained by your people. Any one of the phone numbers we went through could've taken down the information and helped us navigate the process and called us back with a resolution. Asking probing questions such as, "when did you drain the Jacuzzi?" It probably froze over. "Saying, it was probably broken before!" So conclusion, we bought a $26000 swim spa and set you up to move our Jacuzzi to get $165. Pretty sad when you think about it. But that is how I felt. I don't appreciate the service from any of you and resent Kevin cutting off my questions and having the nerve to call me rude. Delivery of my spa was an adventure. There were delays and a lack of communication leading up to actual delivery, but I'm not sure if that was on Plan B or Master Spas who sold me my unit. Also, I was told delivery would happen between 2 pm and 4 pm, but they didn't show up until 5 pm. It's not that big of a deal, but I did hire two guys to help with the move and I took off work so I could be there. Also, I live up a very narrow and windy road, so I am always sure to tell the delivery company to bring the smallest truck they can. Well the truck they brought was fine, but it was towing a HUGE trailer. Again, this may not have been their fault as they said they were never given the message by Master Spas. Anyway, there was no way for them to make it up to my house- too many tight turns and narrow streets. So, after an aborted attempt up the hill, I hooked up the small trailer I just happen to have to my Honda Pilot and drove down the hill to meet them. There we transferred the jacuzzi to my trailer and I drove it up to the house. But that was just the beginning as we have quite a few steps leading up to where we were going to locate our 7X7 tub. However, after a lot of sweat, some complaining and much swearing, the 6 of us- 3 of their guys, 2 of mine and myself- managed to muscle the tub up the hill and to its destination under the trees in my yard. While my review might seem a bit negative, I know this was a very hard job and to top it off it started to rain on us. When it was done, I think we all felt some sense of pride and camaraderie. The guys made it happen, no one got hurt, and I got my tub all in one piece. So good job! read more

Eek! but Plan B came the very next day, in the pouring rain no less, and moved it. They were professional, quick, clean and more than helpful! Their pricing was WAY less than others I called.
