Place du Ralliement is situated in the centre of Angers. On this place there is a beautiful theatre, Galleries Lafayette and plenty of bars and restaurants I like to hang around this place in summer because there are always loads of animations, it's like a meeting point (this is the meaning of the word ralliement in French), a place where everything seems to happen. The best musical festival of the year is Accroche-Coeur festival. I think it is Mid-September. If you are around Angers at that time, you should attend this event. read more
