I was not a fan of this plaza of the Modern Art Museum. Whoever dreamed up this modern plaza wasn't thinking about skateboarders. Now, they have completely taken over the plaza. They grind on every corner, they manual down every surface, they roll over every tile, they graffiti over all the art!
I came up the long ramp that takes you to the front of the museum, while pushing a wheelchair, and a skater gets indignant because I was blocking his skate trick line with the wheelchair while trying to get up the only ramp to the entrance. We had some choice words about where he could stick his skateboard, and I was on to the next plaza. He managed to get his trick in anyhow, but fell off his board when attempting to land it.
If you're not into skating, then you're some skate punk's obstacle. Skate or die, brah.
Plus, there's too many pigeons in this plaza for my taste. Two stars. read more
