This bustling neighborhood pizzeria has a stunning menu with a pizza for every craving. The view from the outside shows just a tiny portion of the large space inside, so don't let the crowded view fool you from seeking a table. The staff are friendly and quick to greet and check if you are interested in grabbing an espresso, pizza to go or a table.
It's quite lively and vibrant inside, reds adorn the walls for pops of color. Service is pretty quick as we got sat, provided menus and water not long after sitting. As this is a small town, the menu is in Italian, which is perfect for us as we're learning Italian. I'm not sure if they have an English menu, but you can always google translate if need.
Their house wines start at €2.50 a glass to €7.00 and they're such decent wines compared to what we get here in the States. There's a nice selection of antipasti to jump start your appetite - from mixed cut salami to Caprese salad. My favorite pizza of choice was the Diavola, a pizza with tomato and spicy salami. If you're looking for the quintessential pizza, the Margherita, then you'll have a selection of variations to choose from. If you're just looking for a simple delicious Pizza Pomodoro Classica, then they have one for just €5.50 that is just as delicious as any of their specialty pizzas.
The pizza here was so good that I ate here twice during my stay in Maniago, the second time being my last pizza before I returned to the states. read more
