YES VAPIANO IS POPULAR…read more YES VAPIANO IS FRESH But it's overrated. I wouldn't consider this as a restaurant. It's a upscale fastfood chain since you get a card at the entrance to pay your ordered food with. It's a marketing strategy since you pay with a plastic card and not with real money, you lose the awareness of the value. And at the canteen you'll take a tray and after 15 min of waiiting in line hopefully you got your meal. This is not bad at all. I like it crowdy and waiting for someone to free their table so we can sit. No seriously I think it's fun :D The only thing why I gave it 3 stars is because I'm always still hungry when I leave Vapiano. The dish you order comes with a huge bowl or plate or whatever but the actual food covers only 1/3 of it. And I refuse to order another one. THAT'S THE CATCH. People order more because one dish is too little. I REFUSE bitches!

Fun, airy, Moderate. DH got roasted vegetables on his pizza, I decided on a spinach pesto pizza. Slices of heaven. Salty, though. Did you know heaven was high in sodium? Drank a gallon of water, but water is good for you. You go station to station. Pay at the end, it's added to this card you are given upon entering. Very brightly lit. Communal tables, but no one talks to each other. Often crowded. Potted basil and rosemary plants on the tables.

Had dinner here with a colleague to discuss some business issues. We picked it because it was close…read moreto both of our homes. I had heard both positive and negative about this place. Nevertheless, none of the negative stuff came into play. We had a really good experience. I found the waitstaff to be very attentive and really nice. The food in my opinion was well prepared and I enjoyed my dish. The place initially wasn't too full and thankfully though we had reserved. It filled up quickly until eventually even Michael Ballack walked in for dinner. I found the atmosphere well executed and due to my positive experience, will definitely be back. Do note that it's a bit on the expensive side but this is to be expected for the area it's located. I still found the pricing fair. Parking is also a bit of an issue. The street tends to be quite full if you come by car. You can get lucky in the side streets but I'd recommend avoiding driving here if you can. Finally, for the summer months, they have an outdoor patio out front but it's a fairly busy street so it may not necessarily be the quietest place to have a meal.
