I received, and this is NOT a joke, a opened can of sardines with butter drenched bread with huge butter wedges on the side. 90 minutes Canned sardines seriously. Ordered a bottle of water, which took about half an hour to arrive. Waiter was bored ,disinterested, and never cleaned up any plates, baskets etc. Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I almost felt like I was on candid camera. Do not go there, they don't care about you , return the favor.

We had been there 2 years earlier and had a really nice meal / experience. This visit was disappointing in comparison. There were six of us and we were sat outside (front) where we were assaulted by bugs during our two hour stay. There were lots of empty tables inside but somehow moving in wasn't an option for us. That said, the waiter spoke all of 10 words to us during our entire 2 hours stay, never greeting us, never checking on us - weird! He never even came back to offer us a bill; we had to finally go in and hunt him down to cash-out, just as we had to go in and ask for beverage refills earlier. The food was "ok", but 3 of the meals came out 5 minutes after the first 3 meals arrived at the table. Not sure why this was but it was awkward. All in all this will likely be the last visit to Vetro for us. It's a shame one bad service person (Fabio) can leave such a bad impression.
