I go here a lot for lunch, .. and dinner, and sometimes even for a late night snack. Usually I will get the zucchini and the funghi, but sometimes I mix up the latter. You see, this is where the brilliance of this over the top fabulous pizza joint comes in.. you order by slice (actually one slice is three slices... don't be confused), and they make the slice fresh for you there and then. No heating up, i.e. no soggy pizza. Instead you can expect fresh ingredients, and a thin crispy close to perfect crust - all served up on a wooden board.
They change the interior about every month, or second month, or something like that.. each time a new artist, a new theme. It's a hit or miss kinda thing. Still, it's the pizza you come for, so who cares? At least it gives the place character.
It can be rather busy at peak times, and in summer you are lucky if you can find a spot on the outdoor communal tables. The wait is totally worth it though. Why don't grab some wine from the barrel, or an italian soda, in the meanwhile? .. all the while anticipating your savory delight... ok, I so need to go there again tomorrow.
