As it is very popular I would highly recommend booking a table a couple of days in advance if possible! We tried to book the same night, and it was impossible to get a table. We were however told by the locals that you could go to the restaurant and be placed on stand-by to get a table. We did this and it was craaaazy! The wait was not to bad - 40 minutes - but we surely was not alone to do this. It felt like we were just as many standing in line as there was guests eating in the restaurant! It is located close to the old town of Alghero and it is easy to get to and it has a small outdoors serving to complement the restaurant. Both me and my company ordered pizza, with the exception that mine was gluten free. Boy should you order the pizza if you are gluten intolerant! This was the best pizza I have ever had! It had the perfect balance of crunch and softness and the dough actually looked like and tasted like pizza! Here they make their own dough and it was far from the usual sad version of pizza that most of us needing GF are used to getting when eating pizza. As they make their own pizza, we as GF can choose from the same menu as the rest of the guest, leaving you with something close to 40 variants. My companion had a regular pizza and was also very pleased with texture and taste, so this is a restaurant that everyone can enjoy. They have everything that is gluten free clearly marked on the menu and this is a restaurant where we GF people can go crazy. There are bread, pizza and pasta for us to enjoy in abundance! The restaurant was very busy on the Saturday that we were there, but the staff still managed to give fairly fast service. As this place is highly popular and not a "Michelin"-type of restaurant, the atmosphere is relaxed and the volume at times could pretty loud. Not only do you not pay for the extra boxing cost, but they will fold the pizza in half and somehow this makes the pizza all the more appealing. It's like a pizza sandwich! I recommend the Vegetariana (tomato, mozzarella, eggplant, bell pepppers, mushroom, onion and zucchini). Not only is the taste delicious, the price is unbeatable. For an order of a Magherita pizza, it's only €2.80 a pie! The size of the pizzas are a bit smaller than other pizzerias but, just as filling. Unless, you have a pizzaholic for a husband like me, be prepared to order three per person! haha. But, all kidding aside, one pizza is enough for me. Another nice addition is that all their pizzas can be made with Kamut. Just order in advance and it's just an additional €1 per pizza. They offer delivery, take-out or a couple of chairs if you want to eat-in. But it's more of a take-away pizzeria than a sit down place.

You're sure to find something you love. Even so, they are more than happy to customise for you! The only downside is the base is a bit bland on its own. After our meal, even though we were stuffed to the bone, we were served complementary pizza bread and Nutella and a couple of Italian and Sardinian liqueurs. It was a little off the beaten path but totally worth it. The pizza was fantastic, the price very reasonable and they added a great touch at the end by giving us limoncello and Nutella-dipped pizza dough. Nice. We actually loved it so much that we went back a couple of nights later for delivery to our hotel, Sa Cheya (which I would also highly recommend, by the way). It's not the closest hotel to Alghero so we were really impressed they delivered to us when other places would not. The pizza was again, fantastic. Still hot and tasty with our customisations despite the 5km journey. Yum. So we went back AGAIN tonight, which brings us to now.
