Several of the waitstaff speak German and English. The atmosphere is informal, warm and friendly, and the food is delicious. Both nights it was packed with hotel guests and what appeared to be local regulars at the bar. Highly recommended!

Spent two nights in at the SeeSpitz while touring Germany with a group of friends. The hotel and…read morestaff were very warm/welcoming. The rooms were clean, balconies overlooking the lake (beautiful views). It wasn't till after returning from the trip that I realized we had missed incredible views of the Alps because of the low cloud cover. Authentic Italian restaurant located in the lobby was a must try. Excellent, fast & friendly bar and wait staff. After returning home from my trip I realized I had forgotten my gortex coat somewhere on the property. My e-mail to the office was answered very quickly with the unfortunate response that no one had seen it. A couple of days later it was followed up by a second reporting it had been located in the restaurant. Thanks to Jörg at the front desk the coat was shipped back to the U.S. a week later. Highly recommend staying at the SeeSpitz!
