Frankly, had I known it came with this bread, I'd not have ordered a pizza for my main, but I did. We started walking around the area and stumbled upon the Las Cortes Madrid location of La Mafia. This restaurant found us at a point in our trip where we were all craving Italian food. We were seated promptly, had great service and a wonderful meal. The place is super cute and inviting and really made you feel like you were in Italy. I am writing this review almost 2 months after the fact, so I do not recall exactly what everyone ordered but I know that I had the meat raviolis and they were FANTASTIC! My husband and our friends ordered a few things and rotated plates so that they could all share and try everything together. Fast forward to our last night on this trip, we had wonderful cocktails at a nearby rooftop bar and found that we were all starving, so we decided to go back to La Mafia on our walk to the hotel, there were 8 of us this time and again, everyone raved about the food, service and ambiance. I didn't realize this was a chain of restaurants until trying to leave this review. It appears that only one location in Madrid has a yelp page--so I am speaking to the location on Pl. de las Cortes, just a short walk from the Prado Museum! Highly recommend!
