We got a slice of the fugazetta (cheese and onions), and the Napolitana, (tomato cheese, oregano). Crust was crunchy and flavorful. Cheese was plenty and delicious! They were both DEELISH! Very happy I came here and will try to come back one time before I leave Argentina!

Classic pizza place in Villa Ortúzar. You have to get the stuffed fugazzeta? It's unbelievable. We chose to pick it up and take it home, the place is not nice, it's what places like this were in the 1930s. The queues are big so I would recommend you to be there early, by 8pm.

It's the best way to order by the slice, soak in that classic pizzeria energy, and mingle with the crowd. We stood at the counter and tried the Mozzarella and the Fugazzeta. As a New Yorker who swears by thin crust, this thick, airy, Sicilian-style like pizza is a totally different beast, but I definitely understand the appeal. The Fugazzeta was a completely new experience for me. It's essentially a heavy base of dough and infused cheese buried under a massive layer of onions. It's rich and delicious, but the classic Mozzarella slice ended up being my favorite, perfectly balancing salty cheese with a slightly sweet tomato sauce. Come hungry because this pizza is no joke; it is very heavy, and two slices will easily fill you up. Overall, it's a solid spot worth visiting to experience a local staple, but don't expect a life-changing slice.

I was also impressed with the crust -- in some pictures I saw it looked floppy but it was not as floppy as I imagined it would be based on those photos.
