Service (4.5/5): The service was good and quick, but there were times where we would often have to remind the server what we needed or have to ask multiple times for a thing we asked for earlier. They were super accommodating with some of us who weren't familiar with Swedish. Food (5/5): Going through the menu, there were ample amount of dishes offered and they all seemed tasty. I ordered the "vegetarisk tallrik" and "falafel tallrik" alongside a Turkish coffee to drink. The vegetarisk tallrik was filled with flavors and various veggies, making it a fun dish to eat and it was one of my favorites. The falafel tallrik was just disks of falafel with a small salad and French fries, but their falafels were good! I also enjoyed drinking the Turkish coffee, gave just the kick to avoid a major food coma after eating all this. Overall: It was a great experience and I'll be back here whenever I'm in Sweden again.

Cooked food is usually better when eating out because they don't have good enough raw food (isn't that sad, having to hide bad taste by cooking them) but this place has nothing to hide. I have a theory…read more There are people who are saying this isn't good Mexican food, but now, having been there, as a native Californian and self proclaimed Mexican food expert, I have developed this theory. Those of y'all that say this isn't good Mexican food, are people who haven't haaaaad good Mexican food. Now hear me out, I'm not saying you are bad people, I'm just saying that you should open your minds to new and different things and understand that this, my dear Swedes, is some really good Mexican food. We came at around 6pm on a Friday and got the last patio spot, thanks to my boyfriends glowing record from "charmers" university located nearby. They have a huge smoking and non smoking outside section. The waiters are super friendly as is the bartender. Now the food! Each order of tacos gets you two tacos, we got the pork, beef, and fish. Which were basically versions of tacos al pastor, beef (no change), and Baja fish tacos! They are delicious!! Down to the soft flour tortilla and actual real sour cream. We had sweet potato fries which were as delicious as they were random, and some excellent guac. And of course, those frozen and straight up margaritas were perfect on a "warm" summer day. Since most locals don't eat out habitually, the lunch menu exists more to keep a restaurant on the public's radar rather than as a means to make a profit. Thus, many lunch menus present great deals to entice eaters to return later for a more lucrative dinner out. This is surely the case at Yalla Yalla. My husband and I were wondering around the Linné neighborhood, feeling peckish, when we noticed the lunch specials posted at this Mediterranean restaurant. For under ten bucks (65 kr), we got salad bar access, an entrée, coffee, and a cookie. It sounded good and we were hungry. We anticipated a quantity/quality trade off, but boy were we wrong. This meal was the intersection of excellent, cheap, and abundant. The salad bar included a wide variety of tasty pickled vegetables, cumin spiced potatoes, fried and plain pita, greek salad, olives, and assorted fresh vegetables. Our entrees (flank steak with potato purée and bernaise sauce for him; moussaka for me) were generously sized, delicious and artfully presented. For example, my husband's flank steak arrived on a wooden plank, the purée piped elegantly around the edges and surrounding pools of fresh bernaise and vegetables. Everything was seasoned excellently and seemed made of high quality ingredients. For reals, this would have cost at least $20 in San Francisco, and thats without the salad bar and coffee/pastry. Highly recommended, particularly for those looking to eat well on a shoestring.
