We stumble across…read morethis place online, read the insanely positive reviews, and decided to walk about two miles to try it out. Afterwards, I thought to myself, I would have walked about 10. That's how good this place is. Different than the dozens of Kabap places lining the streets of Cologne, Kebapland stands out with its friendly and quick service (there's probably going to be a line - there's always a line), charcoal grilled meats, fantastic flavors, authenticity, and different menu items. Having trouble picking between lamb, beef, chicken, or wings as I was? No problem - orders the mixed plate for a small €16 and get a big portion of each. What stood out to me most were the wings. Crispy, charred, and flavorful. If you're in Cologne, this is a MUST TRY. Don't miss the chance for a culinary dream come true.

I have heard from many people that the best Döner in Köln is Oruc so I wanted to see for myself. Judging by the 3 lines that went out the door and the utter chaos I believe I found the right place. Even though my standards were high they were met, the Döner sandwich was bigger, the pita was cooked perfect and with the zaziki and spicy sauce it was a perfect meal after celebrating Karnival all day. I would like to see what the sandwich would be like if it wasn't so chaotic and they could put some more TLC (Tender Loving Care) in it. Since being in Köln I have seen many Döner places and for many people to say this is the best I think it's time for me to agree. Oruc simply the best Döner in Köln. You are welcome ;)
