This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a pizza hut. I tried calling numerous times and no answer, tried ordering online, didn't go through. I ended up visiting the store ordered the supreme and a thin crust veggie pizza. I told the cashier no bell peppers on the veggie pizza (someone in our party is has a bell pepper allergy) When the pizza came out it was covered in tons of it, was this a joke? Make sure you check your order before leaving the store! I also noticed a ton of delivery drivers chillin. Since I had to wait 15 mins longer, I thought it was nice of me to let them know that their phone system and website was down, probably why they were all chillin on a Saturday night. I overheard the drivers call a local office that deals with a few stores in the area and they were of no help at all! Nonetheless, I would never come back nor recommend, head over to Little Caesars, Pizza hut or Papa Johns in Nanakuli No inside seating - to go only

Italian sausage and olives pizza

Yay! Delivery is back at Makaha Valley Road. Ordered the two medium two topping pizza along with five bread sticks and a two liter Pepsi. The employee at the call center was friendly when she answered the phone and took my order of two hand tossed pizzas. My first medium pizza is the Italian sausage and olives. The second medium pizza is the pepperoni and mushrooms. Pizzas are $7.99 each. Add on deal of the five bread sticks and 2 liter Pepsi for $6.00 more. My total came out to $27.99. I wonder how much was the delivery charge? The wait was 45 minutes. Lehua was the delivery driver for my pizzas. She stopped in front of the gate at first then drove off to the neighbor's house next door. I had to step out of my gate and wave my hands so she can make a u-turn and come back to the right address. After I paid for the delivery and chatting with Lehua...I took my items into the house and started to have early dinner. I lifted the cover of each pizza box, took a slice from each box, and placed them on my plate. I noticed that the pizza crust on both pizzas looked thin. I could have sworn I asked for hand tossed. I tasted each slice of pizza and was satisfied that the crust was cooked properly. I managed to eat half of the medium pepperoni pizza with mushroom and half of the medium Italian sausage with olives. I also managed to eat two of the breadsticks. I must have been really hungry in order to finish up an entire medium pizza. I'm just glad that Pizza Hut resumed their delivery services to the homes on the road I live on. It sucked when they didn't offer the delivery service to the homes yet the drivers would always pass my home in order to deliver to the secured apartments up the road. Update 12/100

I have lived on the leeward side for over 20 years and have worked pizza a couple of times and this is the saddest Double pepperoni I have ever seen not to mention the other pizza was supposed to be pep Italian sausage and double mushrooms

I miss coming to this spot with family to get plate lunches when we lived down in waianae, but since we haven't been to this location in a while we finally made the attempt yesterday from Kapolei to come down to Maili. I'm happy we did because the pastele plates we got was 1/1 mild and spicy with Mac salad and 2 scoop rice. The meat was tender and savory giving you the correct amount of flavor with seasoning and balance. You can tell they put the heart into making these. Although there are many variations to Pasteles this one is my favorite. The Mac salad is good also better than other places I've tried. The opihi I also brought and added my own sauce to it with and enjoyed it with their Hawaiian Style (Inamona) poke on the side. My only recommendation is the panadeja was more of a pulled pork look and of course that's what it is but I was looking for more of a stew consistency of which it was not. Now don't get me wrong the flavor wasn't lacking and was juicy but it was just shredded pork inside and you can see couple of black olives that's it. I will still purchase them but a slight upgrade would be nice to those, just my opinion.

A lot of varietyon the menu (pic) we went with the chicken wings (good) lau lau (ok) shoyu chicken (phenomenal) I am sure they sell out for sure!!! and the empanadas(soo good!!) They probably sell out of this too. Portions was fair and prices reasonable. Summer, Carrie, Reydel, Sadie, Malia, Bishop, Greg, Roz (to name a few) are awesome and always make us feel welcome. Great service, plenty of laughs, and that comfortable local atmosphere that's hard to find. And the food! Some of our favorites are the country smash burger, pupu steak, poke (from fresh caught Ahi) and short ribs. The new pork chops are really good, and the loaded omelette is definitely worth coming in hungry for. Of course, we've also managed to create our own unofficial drink menu. My drink is the "Trish-A-Rita": jalapeño tequila on the rocks with a side of soda water and lime. Spicy, refreshing and perfect. Mike's is the "Mike-Tai": fresh pineapple juice over ice in a tall glass with dark rum floated on top. Simple and dangerous because it goes down way too easily! But what really makes Lilikoi Lounge special is the people. Come for breakfast, lunch, dinner, special events or just a drink and you'll find good food, cold drinks, familiar faces and plenty of aloha. We're really lucky to have a place like this right here in Makaha Valley. And if you happen to order a Trish-A-Rita or a Mike-Tai, tell them Trish & Mike sent you.

They are currently serving from a smaller menu, the food is delicious! We ordered the Lilikoi Rolls.. the best yet! Lilikoi breakfast; egg, breakfast meat, toast AND!!!! A choice of buttermilk or Lilikoi pancake. I chose the buttermilk. It was very good. Shrimp burger was a hit.. served with fries.. the fries were the best!!! Crunchy even after it cooled down! Friends ordered the plate lunch (forgot what it's called) it came with friend noodles, Kalbi, Mac salad & rice!. I got to sample some of it and it was very good! We even got to order the Lilikoi Cheescake! Another hit! We got to meet Chef Bishop! The mastermind behind the tasty food!! Chef and his crew know how to serve with Aloha ! It has a cute cafe vibe; with a beautiful view of the ocean just across the street! The prices are very good and the portions are generous! We want this business to survive after the damages of the hurricane. Please go and visit them. It's worth it and the drive going there is beautiful! I can't wait to back!!

We dined there for lunch on a Monday, so naturally, they weren't too busy. We were seated right away and our drink orders were once we were seated. I decided on one of the specials of the month, White Wash. It was a refreshing mix of watermelon juice, cucumber, mint, and vodka. The bartender didn't skimp on the vodka! You can get a free kid's meal with every entree. The nachos count as entrees, and I was definitely feeling the nachos so we ordered the Lobster Nachos and the Mauka to Makai Nachos. With the Mauka to Makai Nachos, you get a very generous serving of poke nachos and kalua pig nachos. Neither plates disappointed. There were cheesy chunks of lobster on my nachos with diced jalapenos scattered on top. The poke was so fresh, and what made the nachos even better were the fresh house made tortilla chips. My kids had the mac and cheese, and cheeseburger meals. The mac and cheese was creamy and velvety. The cheeseburgers had that nice char-broiled taste. Kids eat well at Tavern! Unfortunately, they don't have an elevator, which was a little difficult for my grandmother who was with us. However, we were still able to make it up the stairs slowly but surely. It wasn't busy at all but there was only one waiter/bartender. He was very kind and efficient, but I could tell it was a lot for one person to wait on the whole restaurant! It meant ordering was a little slow, but understandably. The food itself was delicious! The burgers were amazing, honestly would be on a list of top five burgers on the island. The mauka to makai (half kalua pig, half poke) nachos were amazing. The won ton chips were to die for. We also grabbed a mini purse drink - which is definitely enough for two to share! Such a fun concept and actually how I heard of the place. Besides the slightly slow service, no elevator (which sometimes, cannot help), and the AI generated menus, this place is amazing! Plus, a nice view while you eat.

(formerly S&S Thai Kitchen at Ka makana ali') My affection for this restaurant is boundless, and there are countless reasons why it stands out as my favorite island eatery. First and foremost, S&S Thai Mini Mart commitment to quality and sustainability is unparalleled. An impressive 70% of their produce is sourced directly from their own farms in Kahuku, ensuring that every dish is as fresh as it is flavorful. The absence of MSG in their cooking is a testament to their dedication to health and authenticity, making every meal a guilt-free indulgence. As a vegan, dining out can sometimes be a challenge, but S&S Thai Mini Mart has always been exceptionally accommodating. Their willingness to customize meals without hesitation is something I've always appreciated. Whether it's adjusting dishes to suit dietary preferences or experimenting with new flavors, their customer service is top-notch. The soul of S&S Thai Mini Mart is undoubtedly its owners, Tammy and Jason. Their love for the community shines through in everything they do, from the warm welcome they extend to every guest to their efforts to give back to the island. Moving to Nanakuli, they've not only continued to offer their authentically authentic Thai dishes but also expanded their menu to include Korean specialties and a variety of market items. This expansion has only added to the charm and appeal of the restaurant, making it a culinary hub for both locals and visitors alike. Let me add they have a good selection of authentic seasonings, sauces, noodles and such. We picked up a thing or two while we were there. Oh! They also have ox tail and other meats and fish! Fresh (frozen though) and very smartly priced. The food was as delicious as ever. I ordered Yellow Curry and Pad Kee Mao. I ate the curry there and it was so creamy, rich and satisfying. The right balance on onions, carrots, potato's oh, my goodness. The Pad Kee Mao is for tomorrow! Spice level four this time. I opted not to go Thai hot this time around. My husband ordered Chicken Pad Thai, his usual at a level one and he said it was spot on. He also ordered spring rolls which he said were savory, not overly oily and seasoned to perfection. It has to be said - S&S Thai Mini Mart is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Thai cuisine, a testament to sustainable farming, and a beacon of community spirit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and experience the magic of S&S Thai Mini Mart. You'll leave with a full stomach and a full heart. A couple of things to note, they have one table that can seat six. I didn't think to ask Jason if they were planning on more tables. I will say everyone who came in ordered their food to go. They have online ordering which is a breeze with their QR code or you may go to sandsthatkitchen.com DoorDash and Uber Eats are also available. Their hours are seven days a week 10am-8pm. Monday night karaoke is always a blast, and the live music on weekends is absolutely on point! Both are such crowd-pleasers and add even more fun and energy to an already amazing atmosphere. Whether you're singing along, enjoying the talented musicians, or just kicking back with a drink and taking it all in, there's always a good time to be had! The food and drinks are always delicious, but it's the genuine smiles, kindness, laughter, and aloha that make every visit memorable.
