We waited 15+ minutes after he cleared our plates to recieve the check, which I had to ask for.

Our marriage is strong for many reasons, but our relationship no doubt got off to a an excellent start thanks to this lovely restaurant and their gracious staff. When we decided to visit Grantham for our honeymoon, the first thing we did was book a reservation at this restaurant so we could relive that charming evening. The staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, and made our return to this special moment a dream. I promised that night I would be leaving a sparkling review of their restaurant, but with the distraction of the rest of our trip and then just time in general, I never made it back to leave the review. Now that we finally printed our pictures - a year and half later (!!!) - I was reminded of this special place, and still find so much joy in recalling the two precious evenings I spent here. The amazing hospitality and food underscored these particularly exciting moments in our relationship, and I will forever be grateful. This restaurant is truly a gem in our story, and we hope to make many trips back in the future. Thanks for hosting us, we have not and will not forget you.
