Not too bad for around the corner! Great place to get a decent pie, especially on Wed. with their $11 deal. I also tried their meatball hero which was decently ok, eggplant hero which was not so ok, and their chicken cutlet hero which was actually pretty good. They do pack the heroes well, making them a decent value when your hungry. I had the garlic knots here as well, something I never order but my wife wanted to try them. They didn't have any real garlic flavour and were like oil packed sponges. I'm not a garlic knot fan to begin with but these were icky. But for pizza and heroes you can't go wrong! Honestly I don't want to even give any stars. I am new to the area and have ordered delivery several times. Its always late, my order is always missing something. I hardly ever complain because I work in the food industry. However that being said I have never been so disrespected in my life, nor have I ever sent out an order without reading it back to the customer or checking the outgoing order 2x. When I called to complain I was told there is no manager of owner in, then I was place on a 3minute hold. Then when the man got back on the phone he says I don't know what you want no owner or manager will be in until Monday or Tuesday... Do you really expect me to believe that... The pizza is good but it's not worth the wait. They take too long to make a fresh pie. I was ignored once and sat for more than twenty five minutes for a pie, some knots, and wings. I gave them a chance and came again. Same thing. This time waited for more than half hour for a simple order, pie with half pep, six garlic knots, and six wings! It wasn't even the weekend! I liked this place. The food was good they deliver to my door. Then while having my neices and nephews over I called and ordered lunch. My one niece is diabetic so we ordered diet soda. My other niece wanted pepperoni. The food arrived we received regular soda and plain pizza. The delivery man corrected the soda but told us to call about the pizza. So I did. I was told I would be charged for a whole new pizza. As if this was my mistake. I was then told to hold and after a 2 minute hold they hung up. I called back and was told my next order would have a free topping. I explained I never order toppings this was special for my niece. After 20 minutes back and forth the went to the store and had the put pepperoni on the pizza. WORST SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED ANYWHERE!!!!! Was visiting my parents last night and mom was in the mood for some pizza. She usually goes to Sals Pizza in Ronkonkoma, where they make the most unbelievably pizza around but I told her that usually when I'm out in by her in Medford, I run into Pizza Corner because it's just around the corner and pizza isn't so bad. Figured I go in order my pies and come back to pick them up after putting gas in the car. As we were walking in I noticed the signs they had on their window for specials they were having. They had a sign for 2 large cheese pies with 12 garlic knots and a 2 liter coke for $26.99(which didn't that it was for a particular day). Another one for Wednesday special each pie $11.99 or something close to that(really wasn't I treated in that one as I knew it wasn't a Wednesday night. Went inside and ask if they could make a grandma pie and a regular pie but before I could finish one of the guys making the pizza said he had an extra regular pie about to come out of the oven if I wanted it and the grandma pie would take about 25 mins to make. So I said ok, I'll take the regular pie and if you could make me another one... he then said you can have both these pies. All was fine u till the girl cashier rang me up and charged me more money for less product. When I questioned her she said oh that special is for a primavera pie, so I went to take a picture of the sign and said it states 2 large pies, and she continued saying no it's a primavera pie. I told her you should fix your sign because ppl will be upset if you don't state the correct item. She then got very nasty with me and started yelling at me and saying she's never had a complaint. Told her well here is your first... she said and you'll know what I will do with it,NOTHING!!! There were 2 other men working there and witnessed how she was speaking and her rude domineer but choose to defend her. One other customer stopped me and said you are absolutely correct, the cashier is very rude and disrespectful. The one guy must have been the owner or a manager but needless to say they were all family... not o e of the 3 employees apologized or even tried to rectify what they sign clearly stated yet they choose to be rude, disrespectful and rip ppl off. The girl stated we never give anyone 2 pies in 2 mins, we were trying to be nice.... I stated I never said or implied that I was in a hurry for you to give me those pies that you had, in fact I changed my order to accommodate you so that. I came in for a grandma and a regular pie. I have to give credit where credit is due. I have been ordering from this place for the last 6 years since living nearby. Lately they have been messing up my order when ordered through slice. My last order I had ordered an appetizer of Calamari and requested extra marinara because they only give 1. It was late and I was probably the last order so when I went to eat my Calamari I only had enough sauce for 1/3rd of it. I was pissed. I tried calling back but they were closed. 2 days later I physically went to the store pissed off with my remaining uneaten Calamari and put it on the counter. The Owner was a complete gentleman and gave me a new order with the proper amount of sauce.He was a stand up guy and I respect him for that. Their food is mediocre at best. I ordered a bunch of food on this snow day and my father picked it up. When he got home I noticed we didn't receive the tossed salad that we ordered and paid for. I called to ask if they could either refund us, or deliver it. The man told me he gave my father the chicken Caesar salad I had ordered and I told him that isn't even what I ordered. My first experience I ordered a Penne ala vodka slice when I called in to make an order the lady that answered the phone had a really nasty attitude and told me that my food will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes I went to the restaurant in 20 minutes for the man to tell me that they do not have my slice that they could have prepared in 20 minutes instead he gave me there's nasty slide that was Cold and old. Pizza was low grade cafeteria style, the service at the counter was unwarming and not friendly. $10.15 for 2 reg slices a lg coke and a pinwheel, and the food was sub-par at best, could have guessed that because the guy making the pizza was wearing an automotive supply company hat. Was trying to use a restaurant.com offer of 10.00 and owner had me verify it before paying. Tried then to charge me full price said he did not receive a verification code that I used certificate. He found a way to beat people out of certificates as my certificate was used and cancelled so he got credited for it. The girl behind the counter seemed to have a smug attitude and even reffered to a customer as an idiot because he never received his mozzarella sticks that she swore up and down he got. My order consisted of 2 small pinwheels, 2 plain slices (one should have been pepperoni, but she messed that up) 1 buffalo slice, and 2 drinks. The prices listed inside the shop are not what they charge. And even the sign outside advertises a deal on Wednesdays however I get charged $3-4 more than what is advertised on the store front and even online. They are liars and rip you off and seem very rude to even confront. I just noticed this today and will not be ordering on my usual Wednesdays anymore. Please remove the false advisement signs!
