The ingredients tasted fresh, and they pride themselves on having everything imported from Italy, which I guess would explain the higher prices. They have a selection of Italian craft beer, which was great, All in all, we really enjoyed our meal. The place was really loud and smelled horrible like burning oil. It was like putting oil in my nose and Inhaling it. The food was a little pricy from what was being presented I'd say. The beer I ordered was Leffe. And it was a better version of a Weizen beer which are common here in Köln. A nice blonde beer with a smooth finish. I was spot on and the couple of miles walk there and back only made it better. We started off with the Godfather Pizza. Crust was perfect and the salami with the olives were incredible. The waiter then brought us three pasta dishes of his choice, and divided them into thirds. The pesto with shrimp was the best but the others were great too. Each pasta was cooked perfectly. We ended with a steak which again was split between the there of us, very tasty and cooked as requested, vegetables on the side were a nice compliment. No room for dessert but they all looked super yummy. Next time I'm in Cologne, I will for sure make another visit.
