We were just wandering (again) and happened upon this huge plaza bustling with activity. We were…read morelooking for a place for a quick dinner and decided Fontaine hit the mark. The plaza's fountain (Bartholdi Fountain) is located right in front of the restaurant, which made for a nice view. From our outdoor table, we faced the imposing facade of the Hotel de Ville.
I got the penne bolognese and my hubby got a Caesar salad, which looked more like a chef's salad. The penne was good as I was hankering for some pasta (I could have eaten more). We shared a ham and mushroom pizza--so delicieux!
As at many dining establishments, we got a carafe of wine. This time we went with the house red. For about 15 euros, we got 4 glasses of wine . That's the way to go in Europe!!
