From my understanding, this place is relatively new. The inside has been completely redone. In my…read moreopinion, I think they may have opened a little preemptively. I have noticed lots of poorly done or unfinished work in my room. None of it makes the room unusable, but more like an eye sore. There is a gym but there's not much there (elliptical, treadmill, fly machine, leg machine). There is not an ice machine on the grounds but I'm sure that's in the works. I overheard a few of the other guest complaints but that's for them to post. On a positive note, the staff seems to be super friendly. We called the front desk a few times and they were polite and accommodating. They do have washer and dryers available on site. In the rooms they have full size refrigerators as well as a mini fridge. Rooms come with cups, plates, and silverware which is great for those who need an extended stay. It's also right down the road from Ft Polk. I will say that this place has some potential depending on what management does to sort out their issues. Overall not a terrible ordeal.

My room was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable -- much more than I expected for the price! The location was perfect too, with easy access to restaurants and major highways. Whether you're traveling for business or just passing through, Express Inn is a hidden gem that offers great value, comfort, and service. I'll definitely be staying here again!
