It is…read moreonly a small shop spread out over three floors and it is quite cramped inside so you wouldn't really be able to look around if you have a pushchair or are in a wheelchair. They sell all sorts of contemporary and designer homeware and gifts ranging from photo albums to furniture. The prices are a little high but as they sell mostly designer gifts i suppose this is to be expected. However it is a lovely little shop and it is definitely worth going out of your way to have a look around.

The gift toiletries are beautifully packaged, including Isle of Arran's After the Rain range, which I absolutely love. There's Emma Bridgwater crockery (the chunkiness of which I absolutely adore, and which indicates that I am in the type of shop I like, although I've never found an exact design that I would want to buy). There are suitable gifts for the 'older' and sometimes more difficult generation. The shelf of handkerchiefs was prettily arranged; do people still buy these? Birthday and occasion cards are high quality and classy designs, including 3-D cards. The staff smiled and said thank you as we left the shop, which is something to remark upon in this day and age

The shop sells imported things - too many items to list but especially ethnic-y jewellery and sequined cushion covers and throws. I usually find brilliant stocking fillers here but it is also great for larger items like wooden frames, even furniture! The shop itself is situated in an old cottage and as you explore each room you come across new treasures - definitely recommended!
