These guys made it look easy to deal with all that. 1. The couple/team was the perfect blend of followed instructions and telling us when we needed to which made the photos come out perfect both from a 'what I envisioned' standpoint as well as a professional one. 2. They are super professional amidst the chaos. They were on time, had their shit together, patient, and communicative both with us and each other effectively to make sure we got the best shots. 3. The price was extremely fair. Which is obviously important when you're planning a wedding but without sacrificing the quality of the output. Enough said. I would recommend them to anyone for your event.

My boyfriend, now fiance, worked with Lusa to have her (secretly) photograph us during his…read moreproposal. My fiance continues to rave about how easy it was to work with her, as he was extremely nervous but it was clear she genuinely cared about making him feel comfortable and confident that she would come through and beautifully capture the big moment. The proposal was to happen at Dolores Park, which he'd previously scouted out and selected what was supposed to be a secluded location. Unexpected plans came up and Lusa graciously accommodated the schedule change - which also meant that the proposal was now happening on May 5... yes, Cinco de Mayo, a total curve ball. Dolores Park was jam packed with thousands of drunken festival go-ers, so the location he had mind was now out of the question. During the minutes leading up to the rendez vous point, he was sneaking off to text message her and coordinate a new plan.... of which Lusa not only was there early but she managed to scout out a NEW location (at the bridge overlooking the park) for him to lead me to and pop the question. This turned out to be a BETTER location - the bridge arches added a new dimension to the backdrop in our photos my fiance, not having an experienced photographer's eye, would not have picked up. During the big moment, Lusa carefully hid behind a statue and took candid shots of my fiance pouring his heart out - After the proposal, my fiance reveals that Lusa was there photographing us the whole time - and she proceeded to take such posed shots of me showing off my new bling :) These pictures will definitely go into our wedding slide show, in the mean time, it's part of our "save the date" for the engagement party :) We loved Lusa's elegant (but not overly abstract) images, and her over the top dedication and commitment so much that we are having her shoot my "dam hoi", the traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony. She's taken the time to meet with me to go through the day's events and allow me to highlight the particular moments that will definitely need to be captured. I can't wait for my second round with her, updates on that to come - Also worth noting is that while she's been photographing for a while now, she has recently expanded into and focus more on engagements and wedding ceremonies, making her more reasonable and within my budget than others I looked at on the market. As you can see from our experience, she will work with you and your plans to make sure your treasured moments are forever digitally documented - WE WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND LUSA!

Not that I know too much about photography technique, but I'm sure Lusa really has skills. When I recently came onto the job market and looked at my eight-year-old head shot on LinkedIn, I…read morerealized I was way overdue for a new one. For me, the challenge was finding a photographer to capture my personality and avoid an overly-formal, stiff-looking head shot. Working backwards from the best head shot I'd ever seen - my friend Donna's photo is natural, warm, engaging, and exactly HER - I asked Donna to give me the name of her photographer, and it happened to be Angela Banchi. Angela and her approach to photography was wonderful from start to finish. We exchanged several email volleys on the kind of shot I was looking for, the setting, the timing, and scheduling a makeup artist and hair stylist. The day of the shoot, Angela advised me on wardrobe options, chose several great locations in the park, and did what I needed most: made me feel comfortable. Really, who wants to smile on cue 1,000 times in a row? Angela posted the online proofs immediately following the shoot; reviewing them and selecting my favorites was a snap. Within a day Angela had retouched my final selections, and I now have eight excellent hi-resolution and eight web images to choose from. I thank Angela for taking me from dreading to actually enjoying the photo shoot. I couldn't be more pleased with the final result and highly recommend Angela to anyone looking for a head shot that captures their personality.
