What made this wedding more challenging is that is was a surprise wedding for the bride (she knew she was getting married, but didn't know it would be more than a simple lakeside wedding with just the groom) that we scheduled only three weeks before earlier. Jonathan worked with us and the bride when she arrived to make sure she got what she wanted. He was flexible, so very kind to all the guest, and really captured the surprise of the moment! Highly recommend and my brother already booked him for his wedding later this year!

I found Upstate Headshots on Yelp while looking for a professional photographer to take some…read morebusiness photos of me. I had an absolutely phenomenal experience getting my head shots taken by Alaina. In the process of re-designing my small businesses web site, my web designer quickly made me realize that I needed much higher quality images of myself for everything from my web site, to my business facebook page, to linked in etc. I have almost no style, and a terrible sense of design. Alaina helped me every step of the way from what to wear, to how to treat my body for the few days leading up to the photo shoot (sleep, water intake etc). I brought 4 different outfits, and we photographed three of them to see what was working. We tried different lighting, styles, outfits, looks etc. Her office is very high tech - after each shoot we would go and look at the photos in HD on a large TV to see what we liked and what we didn't. Then we would go in and shoot some more. I am so happy with how the photos turned out. I am sending my girlfriend in asap to get headshots taken for her small business. The price was very fair for the service... and Alaina was so much fun to work it. I never knew being a model could be so much fun (I laughed the whole way through it). Upstate Headshots is without a doubt the go to photographer / headshot company to use the next time you need someone to take your shots.
