I reviewed family photographers a lot on yelp and really studied the photos on the photographer's websites and I could easily see her work looked like that of a professional photographer with great editing, sharpness and blurred backgrounds (I am obviously not a photographer and don't know the correct terms). So that is how I came to find her. She was excellent via email and txt. I sent her photos of my family and our outfits so she could understand the "look" i was going for (formal wear in a field). She reviewed it all and spoke with me and suggested what turned out to be an amazing location better then my imagination. I have 2 young kids and with out formal outfits, we were a little late and got a little lost, but she was so nice about it and helped guide us to the correct meeting point and did not seem bothered and did not rush our shoot by any means, she actually spent extra time with us. Her skill with where to stand us, to capture the candid moments, the best backdrops and how to interact with the kids just was amazing, professional and shows true talent! As you can see with her photos, they speak for themselves. When we were done, my kids kept doing cute things so she kept stopping and taking her camera back out to capture every moment. The shots I have of them from the start to our walk back to the car hours later are PRICELESS! Worth EVERY PENNY! I don't even want to hang my old photoshoot photos next to the ones she did because you can just see the quality is not the same. I get so many compliments. She is such a sweet person and so enjoyable to work with. It was really easy to communicate with her and set up the photo session. We felt comfortable right away and had fun during the whole shoot. Since we were taking photos with our little one, it was nice to work with another mom who understood how to get his attention and how to direct us best. She got a lot of different shots throughout the park and listened to the type of backgrounds we wanted while making suggestions of what would look best. The time went by so quickly because we were just loving each moment and having fun.
