Tall stone walls with numerous wooden benches, chairs and tables. Full menu to choose from for apps, dinners and desserts. We already had dinner plans so we tried a flight of their own beers, big pretzels, onion rings and pickled vegetables. Waitsatff was excellent, friendly and attentive. My favorite was the #12. We walked to the restaurant from the castle hill during our excursion, but you could get here by car. There is a parking lot nearby for your convenience. As for the location, this restaurant is a bit out of the way from the town center. We noticed the building was massive and very dark inside, but that was well-fitted with this brewery from 16th century (1560?). Brewery tour was not conducted due to COVID-19 health protection measures. We opted to get a table in the court yard though it was a little breezy. When we sat down at the table we were served immediately (actually one of the nice servers took us out to the courtyard since we entered the establishment from the restaurant entrance). The servers were friendly and prompt. My beef goulash was perhaps a little lukewarm, but it was tasty nonetheless. I can't say it was the best I ever had, but it was good. In fact, I had a very good beef gulasch recently in the Lake Region in Austria. I must say I was a bit thrown off by the appearance of "bread dumpling" here. It looked like pieces of bread in oblong shape (photo), and they certainly were pieces of white bread?! I wasn't expecting that at all?? I thought prices were fairly reasonable here. You can pay with your credit card, so it makes it very convenient. If you want to pay with cash, you could pay in euro instead of exchanging it to the local currency. It seems every time you exchange currency, you'll end up losing some in the process anyway. Most of the touristy places, you can use your credit cards these days. Some places, though, they will insist on cash to my chagrin. I would recommend this restaurant to those who are looking for an authentic experience with traditional Czech food. I'm sorry, but I think it's really about 3.5 for me.

Fortunately couple of local enthusiatists re-opened this brewery/restaurant in 2014 after a long reconstruction. This restaurant is really cool. Most of the restaurant is placed in a former cellars so you sit in a huge rooms with very high seelings and drink local beer which is brewed right next to the restaurant. It´s still at the beginning so they kind a still improve the quality of beer and also meals. But as I saw their enthusiasm I believe that it will fill that potentional which is there. Rooms are cold, but not too cold. Perfect for refreshing in a hot summer. There is a small garden too. Service is so far very good. People are nice and smiley. No complaints there. By chance I stumbled upon this newly renovated building (though I am not from CB, but my wife is and know that Krajinska street has been a party and Disco center) with microbrewery and very attentive staff. And found my new favorite place to go to if work, food and beer needs to be done/consumed. Had IPA, 13 degree and 11 degree Jantar beers and really well done Czech bacon, pickles, horse radish on warm bread - no complaint whatsoever. Place is clean, quiet (yes I know it is given by the fact I should be home during holidays and not working outside) and well staffed. Thanks again, as I am not a fan of any Budweiser - Czech or the US one - this place is a God send:-)
